5 acre property 2 miles outside of downtown Boerne, Texas and very convenient to I-10. We have a level parking area in front driveway, and you are welcome to camp further away from the house in the front of our property which overlooks the town of Boerne. We do have a property gate which will prevent tall RVs from access. Also there is a tight left turn to get to our parking space which is difficult for some towing rigs. Suggested Local Attractions: Boerne is a great place to jump off from to visit San Antonio or the Texas Hill Country! Boerne itself is pretty great too.. lots of great restaurants and local shops.

Location

Access Road Conditions: Access to our property requires a fairly narrow driveway climb up a paved driveway. Sharp turns may be required depending on where you want to park. We have a Sprinter Van.. no issues with that vehicle accessing multiple spots.. but we definitely cannot accommodate large RVs.

Loving Life! Details: Active recent empty nesters who work full time from home offices. We love to run and cycle.. definitely take advantage of living where we do to enjoy the outdoors as much as possible. We don't get out in our van enough.. so won't have much wisdom to share.. but maybe you can inspire us! Home Town: Boerne, Texas Favorite Boondocking Locations: Colorado Skills or Expertise to Share: Rob is very handy. Health and Fitness.

I would not recommend anyone towing or larger than a class B as the steep angle to get to the parking spot may cause a problem. We had a Class C and had a slight scrape on the rear dump pipes.

Awesome place for our Sprinter! Quiet & country view of rolling hills. paved area flat and clean. Very kind hosts. personally we had quite a bit in common and enjoyed our visit in the evening. Thankfully they accepted our same day request and had excellent communication. We would love to stay again sometime.

We had a great stay on our way to San Antonio and South Padre Island. The horse were very responsive and Liesl met us upon arrival to get us settled in. I would recommend staying there to anyone and we would love to swing in again when we’re in the area.

Rob and Liesl are wonderful hosts. I texted them when I was about 1 hr away and they were at their gate onto the property to greet me. They have an overhead barrier at their entry and I expressed some concern whether I would clear it with my truck camper. They guided me in with no problems. They have a lovely spread with beautiful views of the Texas hill country. I had a peaceful night and wonderful views of a starry night sky. We had an agreement that I would text the next morning for some assistance on leaving. Rob wanted to be certain that I would clear some branches in their driveway. I think texting is a courteous way to communicate since they both work from home. I have a 24’ truck camper with a vertical clearance of 12’-6”. I don’t think anything larger would be advisable on their property. I would definitely stay with them again when in the area.
