H there!! ❤️Please, please read everything in our descriptions & look at all of our photos. We have become a very popular BW/HH host site with over 125 visitors since Oct 2021. We enjoy being a host. We were hosts in Vermont too. We have beautiful sunsets 🌄 and sunrises ❤️. We live in an area where long-leaf pines are grown and harvested. We have ten acres here. The back portion of the property (behind our home) is clear for BW & HH guests with plenty of room to swing in and park. Rural area with walking/biking trails. We like to give our guests privacy so they can get some rest, relax, and enjoy the area while they are here. The train track is not far from here (about a mile), and we can hear the train off in the distance. Our directions will get you here just fine :) Please watch our YouTube videos. Just tap the links below. Location

Grass and packed sand... Access Road Conditions: Located 7.0 miles north of downtown Folkston, Georgia. We are 6.1 miles N from ace hardware thats off of 301. Our address is NOT on most GPS/google map systems. You can use the GPS most of the way to our place but not the whole way.. There are steep R/R tracks, and our directions get you safely here avoiding those....1 mile only of a sandy/Dirt/gravel road. Well packed, county maintained, some minor bumps.. We pull our rig in and out just fine, as well as our BW guests...we have had over 125 campers here. Plenty of room to maneuver. Sites are not perfectly level, but level enough :)

This was a great place to stay. Although off the beaten path the instruction to get there were excellent. We were there two nights. Went over to Brunswick and ocean one day. Couldn’t ask for a better place to relax.

Excellent directions for reaching a somewhat secluded location. Treats on the way in and great smiles from Ron & Sue at Best of Southeast Georgia. Quiet night of stargazing (one shooting star spotted) made possible by nearly total darkness that brought out Orion, Taurus , planets Jupiter, Mars and lots else. Lovely stay. We got stuck at the RR crossing when the train stopped in front of us. A trucker behind us led us to our destination via a back road. Friendly Folkston.

Sue and Ron were very gracious hosts. We felt very welcome. The parking was in a large area so easy to turn around and back in next to shed where electric was. Water is not potable so bring fresh drinking water. Okefenokee Swamp was very close. Would definitely stay again
