I'm retired from civil service. My wife Terri still works as a nurse in pediatrics. We've traveled and camped from Atlantic Canada to the Rockies. We currently spend most of our free time on the upper Hudson river in our kayaks.

What a gorgeous spot and a fantastic host. Had just a bit of trouble finding it as I was hesitant to drive down the last part of the road with my trailer as it said dead end. But it was exactly where he said it was!

Great spot right on the river with lots of room and privacy. Found a nice level spot looking at the river. Host was great and very friendly stayed an extra day .

Jim was a great host and what a beautiful spot on the Hudson River!! It was just as Jim had described it to me when talking to him. Some road bicycles might have a hard time on the road infront of the site, as the road turns into gravel on the last 500' or so, but we'll worth the visit!! I wish I could add a picture of the beautiful sunset over the water on the night I was there!!

Beautiful spot in a grassy field right on the water. We spent two nights here and actually got a chance to get a little fishing in. Peaceful and relaxing. Jim and Terry were perfect hosts and made us feel very welcome. We recommend the Big Bender very highly.
