There is 1/2 mile of well maintained gravel road to our property and a 1/4 mile gravel driveway. We have plenty of room for parking a tow vehicle. There is a circle drive around grain bins that is a good turn around, with 30/50 amp hookup. However, in very rainy conditions, this area could be muddy. We have plenty of room for boondocking, but if you want electric /water hookup, you will need to park beside the barn. We have a fire ring and firewood available on request. We live on a farm in central Iowa. This farm has been in our family since 1931. We retired a few years ago and love traveling. We have traveled extensively in the US. We have also enjoyed some travel in Europe, Canada, and Mexico. We enjoy visiting with people from around the US. We started out camping with a tent when our children were young. Have camped with a pop up camper, a bumper hitch, a fifth wheel, and now have a motor home. We've come a long way. We enjoy woodworking and quilting.

We were on a mission to get to a warmer part of the world so we stayed just one night, we much appreciated their hospitality, the tour of the work shop was a plus and thanks for showing and sharing the love of your hobby with us.

Nice stay right off the interstate. Very gracious hosts and very welcoming. A heritage farm with a beautiful quilt square on the barn. We had electric and water, what a blessing!

Dean and Cindy were so welcoming and went above and beyond in making sure our stay was fabulous. Our pup thoroughly enjoyed playing ball and stretching her legs as she ran through the blowing leaves and corn husks. We’re hopeful our travels will allow our paths to cross again!

Dean and Cindy were wonderful hosts for our stay in the area. Their farm is easily accessed from the highway with plenty of room to maneuver. Dean got us into our spot and made sure we were all set with power and water - even offering his hose as we were a little short. Cindy gave us a printout with local places to eat and visit while we were in the area while Dean gave a great tour of his woodshop. The spot itself is level and perfect for a visit. Highly recommended!
