We are located near downtown Vancouver in one of the oldest neighborhoods. It is a great neighborhood that is within walking distance of many great restaurants, bars, and breweries. The waterfront area of Vancouver is about 2 miles from our house. If you are interested in visiting Portland, we are about 15-20 minutes from downtown Portland. We just got back from a long RV trip around most of the US and we are still getting our house back to normal, but we have a nice sitting area out front and can pull out our propane or wood fire pit for fun get together. Suggested Local Attractions:Lots to do around depending on your preference - city stuff plus tons of scenic areas with hiking, biking, and water sports around. Columbia River Gorge, Mt. Hood, Mt. St. Helens, and the coast are all with 2 hours of our house, with the gorge only being 45 minutes away.
Vehicle Suitability Information
Separate Tow Vehicle Parking
Electric Hookup: 15A
* No smoking on property. * No generators. (We will provide a 15 amp circuit for charging batteries and running minor stuff) * Children allowed if supervised. * We are in a neighborhood so quietness is important after 8-9pm especially on weeknights. * I am sure there are others, but common courtesy should cover most stuff :)
Access Road Conditions: City streets in a nice maple-lined street negihborhood. There is a maple tree directly above you but we have had the canopy raised so our travel trailer can fit under it. Single car width driveway. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Currently our trailer is in the driveway so we can accommodate a small trailer (< 20') or a sprinter-type van. There is plenty of room on the street for the tow vehicle.

This was our very first Harvest Host/Boondockers Welcome stay. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts. They were very kind, hosipitable and honestly rejuvenated our travelling spirits after a rough time in Portland. The area was very beautiful and located near anything we needed. Words can say little but they have all the gratitude we can muster.

What a great experience and what a great family! We were on our way into Portland and stopped for a stay at this amazing Harvest Host. So kind, welcoming, knowledgeable and generous we are forever grateful to “The Couv”. If you are stopping through the area don’t miss a stay with such wonderful people. Thank you again friends! - Dena and Tommy

l was looking for a place to stay near Portland, Oregon with one day notice and tried the 'Couv'. Jen and her family were very accommodating and communication was prompt and clear. They welcomed us despite having just returned home themselves only a couple of hours. earlier. Power and water were generously offered without payment and bins for recycling and compost. Definitely would only suit a short van or trailer and, despite the slight slope to the driveway, we had a great sleep in their quite, well established neighbourhood.

I was a bit hesitant about staying with the Boondocker listings as I really wanted to experience farms. Jen and her family were extremely accommodating and a wealth of knowledge as they have a lot of experience on the road. Thanks for the tips and apps!
