We are located near downtown Vancouver in one of the oldest neighborhoods. It is a great neighborhood that is within walking distance of many great restaurants, bars, and breweries. The waterfront area of Vancouver is about 2 miles from our house. If you are interested in visiting Portland, we are about 15-20 minutes from downtown Portland. August of 2019 to May of 2020 we traveled with our RV around most of the US, but were are back in our sticks and bricks now. We have a nice sitting area out front and can pull out our propane or wood fire pit for fun get together. Suggested Local Attractions:Lots to do around depending on your preference - city stuff plus tons of scenic areas with hiking, biking, and water sports around. Columbia River Gorge, Mt. Hood, Mt. St. Helens, and the coast are all with 2 hours of our house, with the gorge only being 45 minutes away.

House Rules

* No smoking on property. * No generators. (We will provide a 15 amp circuit for charging batteries and running minor stuff) * Children allowed if supervised. * We are in a neighborhood so quietness is important after 8-9pm especially on weeknights. * I am sure there are others, but common courtesy should cover most stuff :)

Location

Access Road Conditions: City streets in a nice maple-lined street negihborhood. There is a maple tree directly above you but we have had the canopy raised so our travel trailer can fit under it. Single car width driveway. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Currently our trailer is in the driveway so we can accommodate a small trailer (< 20') or a sprinter-type van. There is plenty of room on the street for the tow vehicle.

Extremely kind hosts. We were expected to tell us how to park. Very friendly people. Quiet neighborhood. Perfect place and very well located. Thank you and if we come back we would love to stay there again.

What a beautiful spot along the Columbine river gorge! Easy access and fairly level parking. We arrived after they closed and took a lovely walking trail. We saw the museum the next morning. It was very well done and informative about the area. Very friendly staff.

A great place to stay when you need to be in proximity to Victoria. very friendly and accommodating hosts! quiet neighborhood (ince the band of costumed neighborhood kids finished their game).
