homesteaders Details: We live on a working Goat farm. We raise Boer registered goats and sell them to 4H and FFA kids as well as other homesteaders. We have large guardian dogs who watch over the goat herds. We also raise meat chickens called Cornish Cross (like Tyson) and sell the processed whole chickens to local costumers. This is our first year to raise feeder pigs and it has been an experience. We also have laying hens and sell our Farm Fresh Eggs to local vendors. We raise a large garden and process most of the produce. The Orchard gave us an abundance of pears and apples this year so those were canned also. We do travel from time to time and enjoy seeing and exploring new places. We are both retired since 2016 and moved from the City and began our little hobby farm. Home Town: Stover Missouri Favorite Boondocking Locations: we are not RV people...yet. We have several family members and close friends who are RV fulltime and occasional and love it. My husband might be an RVer but I have some RV anxiety...HaHaHa Skills or Expertise to Share: We raise goats, chickens, pigs and sell these products as well as eggs

We had a wonderful stay. Linda, her husband and Linda’s mom met us when we pulled in. Wonderful folks. Had a nice visit. We woke up to Cardinals, Mourning Doves and a striking beautiful Redheaded Woodpecker. Many more birds came along to visit. Definitely a place we will stay at again if we are in the area.

Great place to overnight and I am sure you would like more than one night. Their timber was beautiful and trails. Woke up with Cardinals, Mouring Doves and several other type of birds. Oh yes there was a brilliant Readheaded Woodpecker. Linda, John and Linda’s mother came out when we drove in and gave us guidance to our parking space. Had nice visit…..nice folks. What an amazing stay & very hospitable hosts. Linda & Paul are above welcoming, helpful & truly care about your experience at their farm. We loved helping with the chores in the mornings. The camping spot was great & easily fit our 43foot cosch. Having 50 amp electric was a real plus. We would abolutely stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hosts were friendly and very hospitable. It was fun helping with (well, participating in) morning chores, interacting with the pups and goats. Nights were quiet. If you find yourself traveling between KC and St. Louis, we highly recommend a stay at The End of the Road Farms.

Can't say enough good words about this Boondocker Host. We stayed two days and the weather turned extremely hot. Glad we had the 50 amp service!! Linda and John checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable. We had a issue with our truck and they were there to help us in anyway they could. Thank you again Linda and John! We highly recommend The End of the Road Farm for anyone looking for a stay in the area. We will be back when we are back in the area.
