homesteaders Details: We live on a working Goat farm. We raise Boer registered goats and sell them to 4H and FFA kids as well as other homesteaders. We have large guardian dogs who watch over the goat herds. We also raise meat chickens called Cornish Cross (like Tyson) and sell the processed whole chickens to local costumers. This is our first year to raise feeder pigs and it has been an experience. We also have laying hens and sell our Farm Fresh Eggs to local vendors. We raise a large garden and process most of the produce. The Orchard gave us an abundance of pears and apples this year so those were canned also. We do travel from time to time and enjoy seeing and exploring new places. We are both retired since 2016 and moved from the City and began our little hobby farm. Home Town: Stover Missouri Favorite Boondocking Locations: we are not RV people...yet. We have several family members and close friends who are RV fulltime and occasional and love it. My husband might be an RVer but I have some RV anxiety...HaHaHa Skills or Expertise to Share: We raise goats, chickens, pigs and sell these products as well as eggs

The drive out to the end of the road was well worth the visit! We enjoyed getting to know John and Linda and their busy farm. The RV accommodations are perfect and the farm residents (the animals) are so entertaining. We both enjoyed bottle-feeding the baby goat and my husband loved tagging along on chores in the morning. We appreciated the offer of a shower, as well! Thank you again!

Do you want peace and quiet (with an occasional goat bleating thrown in)? Go to The End Of The Road. Linda and John and their farmhands run a clean, well-planned operation with chickens, pigs and goats. Carve out some time to chat with the hosts and maybe participate in morning chores. Fun!

Oops~ previous reference sent before I was finished! 🙄 😤. This is such an awesome, parklike setting! The spots are hard gravel and pull thru. We enjoyed walks down the nice quiet driveway and really enjoyed hiking thru the trees. It was a fun tour of the farm on the 4 wheeler. The hosts were just super - very friendly and helpful! We enjoyed our conversations with everyone there. Definitely a 5 star stay! Thanks, Linda and John!

Linda and John have a great set-up out in the ozarks complete with legitimate campsite pull through sites, electric right at the site and water close enough you don't need to move the RV to fill up, AND A BATH HOUSE WITH LAUNDRY. Our family of 4 stayed 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We explored Ha Ha Tonka State Park which was awesome and Linda told us about Jacob's Cave (which you do not want to miss!) and Patriot's Marina (cool shop with free outdoor games and picnic tables right on Lake of the Ozarks). They gave our kids rides on their 4wheelers and let us hike the gorgeous forest in their backyard. We got up and did farm chores (fed all the animals) at 730 and the kids had an absolute blast. We will definitely be staying again in the future and recommend the site to others.
