homesteaders Details: We live on a working Goat farm. We raise Boer registered goats and sell them to 4H and FFA kids as well as other homesteaders. We have large guardian dogs who watch over the goat herds. We also raise meat chickens called Cornish Cross (like Tyson) and sell the processed whole chickens to local costumers. This is our first year to raise feeder pigs and it has been an experience. We also have laying hens and sell our Farm Fresh Eggs to local vendors. We raise a large garden and process most of the produce. The Orchard gave us an abundance of pears and apples this year so those were canned also. We do travel from time to time and enjoy seeing and exploring new places. We are both retired since 2016 and moved from the City and began our little hobby farm. Home Town: Stover Missouri Favorite Boondocking Locations: we are not RV people...yet. We have several family members and close friends who are RV fulltime and occasional and love it. My husband might be an RVer but I have some RV anxiety...HaHaHa Skills or Expertise to Share: We raise goats, chickens, pigs and sell these products as well as eggs

My family have a great time at end of the road farms. The whole family, along with the farm hands were great! We participated in the morning chores of feeding the goats and pigs. The site was easy to park and shaded. The eggs were delicious! I would definitely recommend a stay.

We stayed 5 nights with John and Linda and had an awesome time. They even invited us to to their home to play cards one evening which we gladly accepted. They have a working farm and so we went out for chores one morning to help feed the goats, dogs, and pigs. The accommodations are outstanding as they have two extremely well shaded pull through sites...one with 50 amp and the other with 30 amp power and they filled our fresh water tank from their garden hose. The sites also have a fire ring and picnic table. We had family come visit one day and had a fire with roasted hot dogs and smores. The hosts could not have been more friendly and accommodating. We will definitely go back when we are in the area again.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 days and it was exquisite! The host are awesome and helpful and accommodating! Helping with morning chores was a treat . Linda and John are very sweet and nice! The location is absolutely gorgeous and peaceful! We visited my brother-law, who lives in lake ozark and they came up 2 nights to BBQ and have a bonfire! They were amazed at how beautiful the location was! Definitely 5 stars!

Wowser! I can't say enough good things about End of the Road Farm, but let me try. Things I especially enjoyed - helping out with morning farm chores - chatting with the family - relaxing in the pristine environment - walking the dense forest on the property - listening to the birds and wind. I defrosted my freezer to make space for some local meats I bought here. I work remotely and had good verizon connection - allowed for zoom calls. Hosts were beyond accommodating. Please treat yourself!

Linda was right there to greet us and get us settled in. She introduced us to all of the animals and was very informative on their care and personalities. Very knowledgeable about their animals, lots of love and care that they put into them is inspiring that there are still good people in the world. We gained two family members leaving there and truly grateful for all they have done for us!! One spot that has definitely changed our lives!! Thank you Jon and Linda! Definitely returning when in the area
