Located 25 minutes from downtown Milwaukee in a quiet suburban neighborhood with lots of trees and wildlife. We have two indoor/outdoor cats, Mabel and Monty. They are friendly but wary of strangers. Please don't pick them up or chase them. If you're traveling with a dog and he or she seems to be upsetting our cats, please do not bring them into our yard and walk them in the neighborhood instead. **This is a driveway spot. It is not very private and we will be going past your rig to get to our cars. ** Suggested Local Attractions: Brewery tours, museums, lakes, Milwaukee Zoo, Brewer's baseball games, Old World Wisconsin. House Rules
No smoking in front yard or driveway, ok inside your rig or in backyard but pick up your butts. Check with us before running a generator. Keep dogs on leash outside and pick up after them. Best to check with host before leaving pets in your rig for more than a short errand. Electrical outlet and hose bib are on the front of the house with the 30 amp inside the garage. Extension cord and extra hose length are available. You may put garbage in the garbage cans in the driveway. Please double bag anything that is especially noxious or leaky. Do not put anything smaller than a filled grocery bag in the cans--no loose garbage or small bags of dog droppings. Grilling can be done in driveway or backyard. Fire ring and free wood is in the backyard, which you are welcome to use. Ask for wifi code.
Location
Rig parks on our driveway. It is on a bit of a slope but we can usually level our 24 ft trailer without any extra blocks. Please use a block or pad under the feet to protect our asphalt. No class A rigs and no fifth wheel campers. Tow vehicle parks on the road and you have to call it in to the city but it is free.

The Martin family is based in Pewaukee Wisconsin. Jessica is a nurse who has worked with newborns through geriatrics and currently works in administration at a long term care facility. Nole is an engineer who works in the power division. They love to travel together, especially with their 4 kids. The kids love having new experiences and going new places. Cal, 17, plays saxophone and loves gaming. Asa, 13, is also a sax player and he is working toward Eagle rank in Scouts. Esme, 12, loves cats and making art and Nova, 8, is a Girl Scout who loves her pet guinea pigs. The family spent 3 months in France in a car and couch surfing in 2018 and since then have been working on a 50 states and Canada tour. They are very active Boondockers Welcome hosts and very courteous guests.

This little driveway spot way perfect for us. We got in and level with no problem. The 30AMP power that was recently added made the hot weather tolerable. The area is very quiet with a nice nearby grocery store. Jessica answered all my questions promptly! We also enjoyed petting their cats.

I attended a work conference at a nearby hotel. The Friendly Fly Inn was perfect in every way . The location was 15 minutes to conference hotel, shopping, grocery, and free dump station at local wastewater treatment plant. More importantly, the family was delightful. The biggest benefit they offered water and electric. Please be sure to follow the guidelines and leave the appropriate amount for use . This location is for smaller rigs. Check how slides deploy before parking. May require backing in. Thank you for the hospitality and wonderful stay.

We had such a wonderful time. The host family were very nice and willing to help make the stay even more enjoyable. They share their knowledge of the area and just were awesome. I would truly recommend this little magical spot.
