Location
Access Road Conditions: This site is at 1058 Lakeshore Dr., on a narrow but well traveled cottage paved road. We bring our 32 ft 5th wheel in easily. There are a couple of blind corners that you need to stay on your side of the road for but all trees are high enough . The RV site requires being backed into. It is off the road at 90 degrees. There is no other place to turn around because the road is a dead end. The site has a slight slope so it will require some leveling. We can offer 30 amp and well water. Wi fi is available at our house which is a 1 minute walk down the road. Also a dock is available there where you are welcome to swim or just sit and enjoy the lake. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: beside your rig. Parking is not recommended on the street because it is too narrow.

Active inquisitive seniors. Details: We have both ridden motorcycles for many years and loved doing the long distance trips. We always camped but eventually decided that sleeping on the ground was becoming a little hard on our bodies. We decided to try an RV a few years ago and fell in love with traveling this way. A couple of years ago we joined Harvest Hosts and enjoyed staying with many hosts on our trip to the Grand Canyon. Boondockers Welcome has been even more rewarding. It is sooo much better than a campground and such fun meeting people who love doing the same thing we do. Home Town: Oakville, ON , and Woodstock, ON. For the last 20 years we have lived in Gravenhurst, ON . Winters are spent in warmer climes when Covid allows us to travel. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We have not had a bad spot yet and each one is different. Every spot has had interesting people too. Such a bonus. Skills or Expertise to Share: My husband owned a business in the construction industry and has lots of hands on experience with most mechanical things. I love to exchange travel tips with others and enjoy planning our next adventure.

This was our first BW and we couldn't have been more impressed! Sue and Murray were so kind and communicated with us as though we were old friends. The location is stunning and peaceful. The RV parking is very large and hard gravel. They were very generous and even offered us electricity. We can't wait to see them again next year.

i dont think i could possibly say more about these wonderful hosts… they were right there when we arrived to help us park, spent some time with us to help us plan our visit, and we enjoyed a very fun happy hour on our last night! don’t miss “the bakery” in gravenhurst… the best chelsa loaf i ever had! looking forward to returning the favor when they are in Florida!

Susie and Murray represent the best of Boondocking hosts. Excellent communicators with clear directions, helpful tips on the area coupled with kind hospitality made my 2-day stay exceptional. Their stunning property right on the lake was a delight to behold!

Sue met me at site, showed me where to park, and kindly invited me to join her for a glass of wine & chat, was interesting exchanging travel tales. Beautiful location on the lake, and I was able to take advantage of the setting the next day to sit on their deck and enjoy the sun. Wonderful hosts, and I would certainly love to revisit their in the future.
