**Guest must have completed bio/rig info in order for request to be considered.** We are located in a rural area of IL about 15-20 miles south of Downtown St. Louis, MO. Our house is about 3 miles off of the exit, but it's all paved backroads. You may have to share the road with farming equipment or get stopped by a train, but otherwise it's fairly easy location. We have a 40' 5th wheel and have no trouble. The RV site which is at the beginning of our driveway is gravel with room for a tow vehicle next to rig. Our house sits about 100 yards from the RV site so you will have some privacy. We do have 50 amp as stated in the amenities, but it is also a 30 and 15 amp also. No water/sewer hookup. Suggested Local Attractions:We are within 30 minutes of most St. Louis attractions including The Gateway Arch, St. Louis Zoo, Science Center, City Museum, and Busch Stadium. There is a Drive-In about 30 minutes away as well. There is also a Putt Putt Golf/Driving Range, Golf Course, Shooting Range, and Wine Bar all within a few miles of us.

The Lake House is perfectly situated whether you’re visiting St. Louis or just passing through. Visiting as we did in February, we especially appreciated the electric hookup as we’ve been having issues running our furnace on propane. Friendly hosts, friendly neighbors along the street. Hope to stay again sometime!

Steve & Donna are fellow RVers so they understand the needs of a safe spot to park overnight. They responded to messages in a timely manner, their site was very generous and would accommodate most sized rigs while unhooking your tow vehicle, and they provided a dedicated 30/50Amp electric hookup for our stay, for FREE! We were very grateful for their generosity, especially considering the temperature was in the teens overnight, which allowed us to supplement our heat with our space heater. We definitely recommend this location for a stay if you want to check out what St. Louis has to offer as they are not far from the city.

Great little hidden jem of a spot close to everything but away from everything. would love to stop in again down the road. the spot is tree covered so not very solar friendly but they have power.

So grateful for this stay in cold winter weather with electricity available to keep us warm. The camp pad was long enough for our 4Runner and teardrop to stay hitched but the site is wide enough to accommodate 2 vehicles if a longer trailer needed to unhitch and park beside. We arrived before the hosts were home from work but they had handy instructions posted at the site on how to set everything up and connect the electric. Friendly host and friendly neighbor; I wish the weather had allowed for longer visits. Easy access from the highway made it a perfect overnight spot for us.

They were so nice and respectful. They went above and beyond to accommodate electric, garbage and a nice Level place To Set up. The nicest people you will ever meet. Steve and Donna are wonderful people.
