We're about 15 miles outside the City of Green Bay. Bring your lawn chairs down to our beach and enjoy the sunset. A tip for those with rigs longer than 25 feet: Bayshore County Park is just 2 miles north of us and offers very nice wooded camp sites. 90 sites with water and electric hookups. Some can be reserved. Some are first-come-first-served. https://www.browncountywi.gov/community/parks-department/general-information/camping/ Suggested Local Attractions: We are located between two of the Upper Midwest's biggest tourist attractions. 19 miles southwest is Lambeau Field, home of the Packers. Seven miles north is Door County, the "Cape Cod of the Midwest."

Location

Access Road Conditions: Sorry, no trailers or fifth wheels will fit here. We are situated on a narrow street along the Bay of Green Bay. The level gravel pad is just off the street and will accommodate camper vans 25 ft and shorter only. (This is where we normally keep our 25-ft Winnebago Era, which we will move to our driveway if you stay here.) Best practice is to drive past our place to find a place to turn around so you can back (slightly) down and onto our level gravel pad.

Great communication prior to arrival. Once we arrived we were greeted right away and guided to where to park and got hooked to electricity. We were able to cook our dinner on our portable grill next to our van. After dinner we were invited to join the hosts on their deck to visit and watch the wildlife and sunset overlooking the water. Great location, highly recommend!

The hosts, Mary and Ken, were two of the most interesting, kind, thoughtful, intelligent and inspiring people we have ever met. Our stay at THE LAUNCH was a gift we will remember for the rest of our lives.
