We just ask for common sense respect. We don’t care WHAT you smoke, but if it has a “butt” throw it in the fire. Same goes for gum, etc. No collecting firewood without being instructed, and no fires on windy nights depending on the style of your ring. Alcohol is fine For the safety of your family we ask that young Children be attended on walks around the property. We have chickens and roosters on the property. sometimes they free range. We ask that pets be leashed if they might be tempted to chase our chickens. The 2 roosters can be curious, so be aware during trail hikes, and especially when approaching the hen house and pen area. We will soon have honeybees, so if you have allergies, please consider this when choosing us as a host site.
Access Road Conditions: Access is open and easy with a big turnaround at the back of the property. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Plenty of parking for tow vehicles at the main residence area

This is one of the best hosts we have ever stayed at! The communication was excellent and Ron put a flag out so we could find the place super easily. Unfortunately for us they had surprise plans and could not join us when we got there, but his text explained everything. The property is meticulously maintained. Lots of trails in an urban area. We had a long drive ahead of us the next morning and had to leave early but Ron made it a point to come and visit before we left. He's super friendly and we both wish we could have visited longer. When we get back up that way again we will make it a point to plan to stay a day or two to enjoy the peace and quiet and varied conversations!

What a beautiful home/Harvest Host! Ron is extremely friendly, very accommodating and responds to questions promptly. We have been fortunate enough to stay three times over the past year and can’t thank this family enough for opening up their property to other travellers ☺️the parking spot is private, very quiet and has a lovely path for walking and entertaining chickens in the woods! Such a beautiful spot, thank you Ron & Kim!
