First time using BDW and this was a good stop for what I needed. On short notice I had to take my pup for orthopedic surgery in Colorado Springs. David was so helpful and accommodating which I greatly appreciated! My MOHO doesn't have leveling jacks and the parking was on a pretty good slant. David set up me leveling blocks and used all of them and went 5 high..wasn't quite enough to use the slide out without fear of torquing something. His info clearly said you will need to level I just wasn't equipped for that much. I add this just so you know. He was willing to get more blocks but I was leary about going much higher. Lovely neighborhood, quiet and peaceful and a nice park just 1/2 block away. You may not have this issue and other than that all was good.

We had a great stay! It's a beautiful neighborhood with a lovely area nearby to take the dog. The host was exceptionally kind and accomodating. It was very quiet overnight, didn't hear anything at all. We showed up late/ left early and it was raining, so we didn't get a chance to socialize with the host much, but if we are ever in the area again we wouldn't hesitate to stay! Thank you!

David & Andrea are super hosts. They even had a BW box of maps, brochures & things to see in the area. Like many hosts they are also RVers which made our stores of trips and destinations fun. Their site is easy to park on. The location is close to I-25 which makes it easy to explore CO Springs, Air Force Academy and Denver corridor. It was a pleasure stopping at Monument Overlook.

First BW box we haver ever seen full of brochures & area info was a nice surprise. David & Andrea could not have been more welcoming hosts. They are RVers like all of us so our travel and destination stories were fun. Accommodations were first class. Monument Overlook is a great destination for exploring the I-25 corridor between CO Springs, Air Force Academy and Denver. Our highest recommendation for Monument Overlook.

Unfortunately we had a dog that was not well, and we had to change our plans and routing to receive veterinary care. When we contacted the host we were too early to meet his arrival expectations, and so we we’re not able to communicate with him. As a result we made other arrangements. The host was most understanding and cooperative and I would recommend anyone staying there if they’re in the Colorado Springs area. If we are back this way, we will certainly give it another try!
