The Pork Hill Getaway is our summer retreat. We come up from FL for the summer and your welcome to come and camp out with us. Last summer we got the gravel road in, the fire pit done, started on the Out House/Shower combo, Installed the power pole. This summer of '23 we should finish the Out House/shower combo, so at that time we can host Tent campers, run the wire for the 50/30 ele hook ups and if all go's well the sewer should be in too! And the well should get up and running, So please pardon our "dust" for the summer of 2023. This is in Rodman NY, and on the western edge of the Tug Hill Plateau, In Jefferson County. At this time it is still a dry site, no water or power or sewer hook ups. There is many many places to go, a few are the Adirondacks, Lake Ontario beaches and parks, Canada is just a few miles to the north, Plenty of hiking trails, Snowmobile trails, Hunting, Fishing and boating are just some of what is available Corner of Pork Hill Rd. & Myers Dr., Rodman NY.

House Rules
Please clean up your site, and after your pet. If you pack it in, you must pack it out. this is a rural area and there is no trash pick-up service. Quiet time is from 21:00 to 06:00. No LOUD generator use ( quiet inverter generators ok 24/7), loud activities, (loud music and parties during those hours. There is no leeway on this & any violations and you will be promptly asked to vacate the site. Thanks in advance, as we all love a good night of sleep :) & we want to respect our neighbor's peace and quiet in the area. Please be respectful of your fellow campers. If you have a LOUD generator and a fellow camper asks for you to shut it off, please do so. Thanks in advance for your cooperation on this :) Winter season Camping (OCT thru APR) is ok with us, you must physically check in at my neighbor's along with checking in via message on Boondockers, and it must be 2 days in advance to book a site. No exceptions, however, conditions can be treacherous for ingress and egress during the Winter season, use at your own risk!!! Pork Hill Road is a very steep road. When it has been plowed it is still dangerous in the winter!!!!

This was our second time staying at this location. Its convenient, paved roads until you get to sites and then its just a back in, into one of the two sites (its a rocky gravel diveway that splits and gives two spots for guests. Its wooded all around, super quiet and conveniently located.

We found this to be a great overnight spot. It was easy to find. Great communication and excellent directions from host. Two nice gravel pads. It was very quiet and private. (We were the only ones there, second pad was vacant) We would definitely come back. Thank you!

Very peaceful place to stay and you can run your generator all you need because there is no one around to bother. There are housed just down the road so it isn't like you are totally isolated. When they get their electricity and water in, I think I could live here LOL. You do have to back in off the road a short distance so make sure you are comfortable backing We did not have any problems getting in the spot with our 26 ft travel trailer.
