I was looking for a place all to myself and this fit the bill! I was able to go barefoot in the field which made my weekend. I got food poison during the evening after eating at the diner down the road and that was bad, but I survived it! Loved the sounds of the goats at the nearby farm, coyotes calling in the night and then we got lots of rain but no problem getting out without making any marks on the ground. I spent the weekend hiking around the area. I got the rest and peace I was looking for! Would love to come back again sometime. Someone before me made a fire in the grass and left burnt sticks in the fire "pit". I tried to clean it up best I could for the next person (and respect for the owner).

Owner’s instructions about where to park were bang on. Very easy to level. We enjoyed the space and the quiet.

Perfect for our quick stopover to explore Pilot Mountain & "Mayberry". Quiet & tucked away behind a house off the main road. Got a good night's sleep. Host provided good communication and directions. Appreciate the opportunity to stay.

Made an oops booking this host while planning a trip from PA to TX. Host had a very prompt response which is always nice and immediately saw my mistake, told me he was an hour off our route and unless I didn't mind, we could still come stay. Of course he was an hour in the wrong direction so I canceled our stay. But, not before he gave me some really good tips about overnight stays. Who knew Cracker Barrel had overnight RV parking? Not me, but now I do! We had a good laugh for my mixup. 10/10 would ask him for directions again. haha

If only concern is privacy then this place is fine. Grass was grown up so had to elevate generator. Ground level was OK. Branches need to be trimmed for RV's. I do not intend to stay here again.
