This is a townhome quiet neighborhood short drive outside of Pittsburgh. We can essentially offer our driveway to you for an overnight stay if you are on the road. We do have a fenced in back yard with a fire pit and grill etc that I would be happy to let you use. We have a lab and yorkie that will also likely want to be out back with you if so. Really a place to park for a short Tow Vehicle/TT combo or a small class C or Class B. We are in a court so that's the reason for no gennys, bbqs, etc. Preferred that you are either in your rig or in the back yard BUT we can make it work if you utilize the backyard.

Adventurous Couple Exploring The Country Details: My wife and I are a happy young couple that just celebrated 5 years of marriage with our first travel trailer! Well, now were on our second trailer in 6 months but more about that another time. We just recently in mid 2020 completed a multistate trip and found out how difficult it could be to find a place to stay reasonably, in a small trailer, in transit to our destinations - enter Boondockers Welcome! We always surmised that if we had a safe place to stay each night utilizing minimal resources, we could stay on the road forever! BW was a blessing in disguise and it helped us meet so many wonderful and kind RVers just like ourselves! We decided to host as well because we knew how important it was for us to find safe and convenient travel accommodations and look forward to meeting you at our host location, The Yellow Door! M&S Home Town: VB, VA originally but now Pittsburgh is home. Favorite Boondocking Locations: State Forests in PA and BW Host Locations :D

Steve and Meg were really kind and offered a safe and quiet place minutes from downtown. They were prompt and clear with communication and helped make my stay in Pittsburgh a breeze. Thank you again.

While I didn't really visit with my hosts much in person, communication was always there. They were nice enough to street park their vehicles to let me use their parking spot in front of their garage, and that's already great hospitality. One note is I did decide to use levelling blocks since it's mostly flat but not completely (more out of potential comfort vs necessity in my rig).

M&S were very friendly and outgoing hosts. We enjoyed chatting with them. Very friendly neighborhood and had a great chat with the neighbor who got a kick out of the fact that we were traveling with our cat. We felt so welcomed and would highly recommended this stop.

Quiet and convenient location, electric, wifi, lightning-fast responses and friendly folks. What more can you ask for? Thank you so much for the kindness and generosity!

Stephen and Meghan were fantastic and very accommodating to us through our visit. We knew we'd be exploring Pittsburgh but didn't want to take our small 4x6 trailer with us everywhere we went, knowing how tight and steep and hilly the area was. They allowed us to park out trailer in their driveway with no inconvenience to either of us which made it so much easier to explore the city. They have a nice backyard that we were also able to take out dog out in and let her stretch her legs. Also, their communication was fantastic and quick!
