Located in Northwest Pennsylvania. Not far from route 426. Good roads getting here from Titusville, Corry and Pittsfield. Very quite but not close to any big attraction. 50 Miles from Erie. 25 Miles from Warren which both have alot of things to do and see. This location is just a good place to relax and get away from it all.

I am a retired Nurse, if there is such a thing. I love to camp as I have been camping since I was a kid. Now that I am retired. I am looking forward to traveling and meeting awesome people as campers (all that I have met so far) are some of the happiest people. With the price of everything going up, I am also (like everyone else) looking for ways to do all this without getting a bank loan. I believe I will like hosting just as much as traveling myself. Hiking is also a big love of mine and or just sitting around a camp fire enjoying some peace and quiet. Cannot wait to meet you all.

We traveled to the Erie area for the April solar eclipse and chose Hosier’s Retreat based on location and past reviews of its host, Tim. As described, Hosier’s Retreat and Super Host Tim are, indeed, all that and so much more. We hoped for a decent camping spot with water and electric and pulled in to an expansive, almost-level, nicely graveled pad with full hookups that puts many RV parks to shame. We hoped for a nice area for taking a stroll and got to walk acres and acres of open fields rimmed by wooded hills and flowing creeks and rivers, complete with a log bench on the creekside overlook. We expected a place to simply park our rig and realized a truly relaxing respite. Best of all, we not only experienced the friendly helpfulness that a super host provides, we gained a wonderful friend who feels more like family! We’re already planning our next trip to Hosier’s Retreat to visit with Tim and family again!

We had an amazing experience at Hosier's Retreat and would definitely return. We chose Tim's place to watch the eclipse, and we made the right decision. Along with two other couples, Tim, and his mom, we had an impromptu watch party and were able to not only experience the eclipse but laugh all the way through the afternoon. Tim is such a generous and friendly host, we highly recommend Hosier's Retreat. Easy, level parking with the option for full hook up. Thanks, TIm!

Country paradise with a host dedicated to guests feeling warmly welcomed and heartfelt hospitality provided all throughout our stay. Tim and son, Josh, were simply a delight to spend some time with while still getting to enjoy a peaceful, private stay. If you are looking for a escape to nature with forest animals, humming birds, dragon flies, butterflies and stars galore, Hozier's Retreat delivers! We hope to get back again next year!
