We are located on top of a hill with very nice views. Guests are welcome to enjoy our front porch overlooking the southern valley. We have 30 amp electric if needed. We travel a lot and understand if you just need quiet time to unwind. If you are social, and we are available, we are also open to joining you for conversations on the porch. Please note that our place is on top of a hill and although we have had a few 35 ft Class A's and Class B's turning around can be a challenge, especially for 35 ft 5th wheels. Suggested Local Attractions:Just over four miles from the D-Day Memorial. About a 20 minute drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Peaks of Otter.

Love hiking during the day then drinking wine by the campfire at night. Details: John and Dayna. We live on a small farm in Southwest Virginia since 2005 but most of our lives spent in central California. Love our little piece of heaven in Virginia. John is now retired from medical device company and Dayna works part time as a MRI Technologist. We love to camp usually in National Campgrounds. Moved from tent camping to a Safari Alto small trailer the summer of 2019. Home Town: Bedford, VA Home to the D-Day memorial Just 20 minutes to the Peaks of Otter where there is great hiking and access to the Appalachian Trail. Smith Mountain Lake is also just 20 minutes away and has boats to rent, a state park, restaurants and more. Bedford Welcome Center is just 4 miles away and has a dump station. They also have hookups for overnight stays if we are not available. The Walmart in town also allows overnight stays and is a safe place. Skills or Expertise to Share: John is fabulous cook. Both of us in medical field.

Stayed one night on their beautiful property with stunning views over a valley and nice trail through the “back 40” woods. Very quiet on a nice paved level spot. Couldn’t ask for better!

This review is actually a couple months overdue as our stay was the first week of April. Our experience here was awesome! John and Dayna were great hosts making sure we had everything we needed. The view from their house as we camped in the driveway was stunning! A day trip downtown brought us to the D Day Memorial which was amazing. The people we have met and the friends we have made while boondocking is fantastic. Thank you both for a wonderful stay!!

We had such a relaxing overnight stay at Tirado Trails Farm! The hosts came out to greet us and get us settled in upon arrival. We parked on a level spot and hooked up to their 30A service. The view their place offers can not be beat! Beautiful sunny mountain treetops complete with clear skylines. They are such nice people that were genuinely warm and hospitable. We were told to make ourselves at home. We sat on their spacious wraparound porch to enjoy the view while we ate dinner. It was so quiet. All we heard were the sounds of various birds and the scampering of beautiful white tailed rabbits around us. It was so nice talking to them and we felt special when they came out to check to make sure we didn't need anything. We hope to stay with them again some day!

What a great way to start our boondocking experience!!!!! Such a beautiful scenic place this is!!!! Such wonderful hosts who greeted us along with their beautiful pup, Daisy. They helped us park and made us feel right at home. Told us we were welcome to use whatever we needed, answered all our "silly" questions and were just delightful! Unfortunately they were both under the weather so we couldn't sit and chat with them....they didn't want us to catch anything. Thank you. Their porch was very welcoming and we sat there just admiring the views they have. Can't say enough about how welcome they make you feel. Would love to stop again just to be able to share some conversation. Hope you both are feeling better now!!!!! Thank you again for breaking us in to Boondockers Welcome!!!

A warm welcome by our Host as we arrived & helped to get us parked. In driveway and level. We were treated to the BEST Buttermilk roasted chicken for dinner- what a surprise! Relaxing evening shared with J & D on their porch overlooking the Blue Ridge Mtns. It was such a peaceful place to sleep under the starry sky and w/o road traffic. We only stayed one night, but would love to visit again! Thanks for being the best of what BW is about!
