Our host location is a quiet safe country location in West Virginia. While there are several state parks with in easy driving distance our greatest appeal is probably how close we are to interstate 64 (6 miles) in Huntington WV.

Location
Parking is in our primary driveway. Our site is best suited for self contained RVs. Navigating through our neighborhood with and parking a travel trailer could be difficult.

My husband and I have long enjoyed extended backpacking trips as well as month long road trips. We started boondocking in a Toyota mini van with a mattress in the back (and loved it). We have evolved into boondocking in our new Winnebago Revel adventure van. We enjoy the solitude you can discover by seeking out remote locations. We live in West Virginia and have traveled extensively in the western part of the United States. We currently have no pets. Most trips we take are adventure trips that may include backpacking, cycling, kayaking, fly fishing, etc., however we also love good food and wine and just relaxing by a nice fire.

Hosts responded quickly with just. Days notice and we arrived on a raining Sunday evening on Memorial Day. Hosts had the electric hookup all ready and we were able to back in right behind their rig on concrete level spot. Tammy geeted us and made us feel very welcome. Had a very peaceful night and left in the morning to continue our journey north. A very beautiful setting and very accommodating hosts.

Best stay ever from HH. Tammy and Tom were so friendly; they invited me for a little social activity by their firepit on the patio. Terrrific people! Highly recommended! Everything as advertised.

Tom welcomed me very warmly, showed me where to park and where I can walk my puppy. We had nice chat when I came and in the morning before I left. This place is safe, nice, quiet and I had a very good night's rest.

Tammy and Tom are the nicest people you’d ever want meet. And their 30A was just the thing on that nice flat at the top of the driveway. We really enjoyed looking at their 4x4 Revel rig, too. We intend to see them again somewhere out there.
