What we have to offer is a flat safe place to Boondock. Sadly, we don't have a view here, but we are close to town and easy to get to! We are in small, unassuming neighborhood. Suggested Local Attractions:Oh, if you are interested in Alaska, then you have heard of Homer! Come on down and play!

House Rules
We haven't done this before, so we aren't sure what rules to put in! ;) The Golden Rule applies, treat others as you would have them treat you! We would like to coordinate parking, so we can get in and out as our schedules vary. We will give you as much privacy as a driveway can! :)
Location
Access Road Conditions: This is a city maintained dirt road, only about a 1/4 mile from the paved road. It is a standard flat driveway, but you will have to back out (or back in!). Tow Vehicle Parking Details: This is a quite, yet buzzing neighborhood, so you could park on the street, or snuggle next to your rig.

Adventuring Educator Details: We are from Alaska and looking to travel the country to find our new home town! We are working on our home to a viable rental next year- so expect our to see us being busy bees when you stay. I have been an educator for about 15 years and continue to work in the school district. Geoff is the engineer of our lives, fixing up our Toyota 4x4 Odyssey, as well as the many other projects around our lives. We have three grown children and enjoy getting things done, and playing table top board games too. Home Town: Homer is a beautiful town with spectacular views and quaint little shops to poke around in- there is yummy food and a fun seaside atmosphere while visiting. Do not expect a box store when you arrive here- the city council is working hard to protect the small town feel! Favorite Boondocking Locations: Oh! There is Copper Lake- take Snug Harbor road about 12 miles and turn left at the lake! Or, in Hope, right at the turn around, down towards the river! Up between Fairbanks and Tok, there is a gravel pit that we dubbed it the 'Mosquito Bowl' that was a nice place to get off the road. And if you are in Anchorage- Cabela's is our go to place- it is right next to Target and has a dump station, and trash cans for RV use! Skills or Expertise to Share: Geoff is a jack of all trades and can help with almost anything- but of course I think that! I married the man! ;) If you have children I can advise you on educational strategies and the like- but really, beyond that, we are happy people who enjoy hearing peoples stories and sharing our own!
