Travis took a little while to respond. We never actually met him as he just returned from an unexpected trip the night we were there. Quiet neighborhood, but suburban view.

my stay was approved for Thursday night but then I messaged Travis and asked if I could switch to Friday night instead and I never heard back from him so I never stayed there and I haven’t heard anything since

On a Monday, we decided to make a quick trip to Las Vegas from our home in Northern California. I sent a quick request to Travis for a Wednesday night stopover and we prepared for our trip. I didn’t hear back that night, but it didn’t concern me too much. Our approval finally came on Wednesday while we were driving to Bakersfield, a few hours before our arrival. I was pretty nervous about that, but because other reviews said he was super communicative, we kept going on faith. And we were rewarded. His neighborhood is beautiful and safe, and his wife Rae (sp?) was totally charming and helpful. The driveway was actually fairly slanted, unlike what another review said, so we did have to put small blocks under our wheels on the curb side of our van to level it, but that was easy. Slept well, and that’s what it’s all about for a quick overnight stay. I’d recommend them to anyone.

I have always gone by "if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all" so I didn't want to share a review but I keep getting prompted by the system....I'll keep it short. Communication was bad, didn't have an address to go to despite asking for it multiple times, so didn't know where to go and ended up at Cracket Barrel with a gang fight going on and my tiny-home-on-wheels being used as their shield.
