I'm happy to offer fellow travelers a place to park for a night or two at my rural, 5.6 acre, heavily treed property that is a very short drive from exit 423/ I-75. My property is only 7 miles to Lake City's downtown with restaurants and shopping. (Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot, Cracker Barrel, Napa a micro brewery and more.) Centrally located in scenic country, close to several State Parks that offer day parking, hiking, tubing and also camping. Suggested Local Attractions:I suggest visiting this web address for ideas. (https://www.visitflorida.com/en-us/cities/lake-city.html) on recreation possibilities in this area.

Location
Access Road Conditions: We are 2 quick miles off of I-75 and on a good paved road. My tree lined driveway is hard packed sandy soil that will not be a problem. However, the driveway is curved and not too wide but if you're a Big vehicle it might be best to back in. To cover that issue, I'm requesting rigs that are driven and not trailers or 5th Wheels.. ie: Class A, B, or C's recommended, as they can be driven in and out with normal driving skills. No trailers or 5th Wheels please. Thank you for understanding. I'm also limiting rig size overall, to 30' as a precautionary measure. If towing a car, note that the road is quiet, so you can detach your toad on the side of the road in front of my house if it is necessary to back in. View the drawing of the driveway and parking areas in the 'photos section'. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: There is 'plenty' of room to park your towed(toad) vehicle up near my home 🏡.

Home Town: Country home, just 8-10 minutes SW of Lake City, Florida's town center and all necessary shopping. Skills or Expertise to Share: Handy in most of the 'trades'. Seem to modify most everything I own or buy, to work better or just how I need things to work.

This was my second stay in this lovely spot. It’s changed a bit since last year. The spaces for RVs are clearer to spot and neatly delineated with tree stump borders. There is also a lovely picnic table with a canopy. There is some traffic noise in the day and early evening hours, but much quieter at night. I slept well and woke up to bird songs. I really appreciate having such a safe and lovely place to stay.

Responds quickly. Pleasant. Camping spot is easy to get to, close to the interstate and very well thought out. covered picnic table and water available. Host is friendly and kind. We would have been comfortable staying longer.

Safe, flat, quiet. Didn’t make use of the amenities-water, covered picnic table-that was graciously available-but the fact they were there told me our host was kind and considerate. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The area is relatively close to town, spotless, roomy and has easy access. Ron (the host) was very friendly, interesting and knowledgeable.
