Our neighborhood is small-town quaint, in a suburb 30 miles from downtown Chicago. We have a long, shaded driveway where you can park in our fenced-in backyard, away from the street. You can walk from our place along tree-lined streets and vintage houses, to the small downtown area with a few restaurants, a tavern, a brewery with live music, and a winery. We have a lovely covered front porch for sitting and relaxing, a fire pit in the spacious and quiet back yard, and can provide electrical and water hookups. We have two small and very friendly dogs who love visitors! We also love to travel in our camper van and would love to swap stories and tips. The train that takes you to downtown Chicago is a 15-minute walk away.

House Rules
No smoking, no dogs that are leash aggressive or dog aggressive. Social drinking is okay, but no heavy drinking for the sake of “getting wasted.”
Location
Our driveway is blacktop and runs along the side of the house to the garage, which is adjacent to the backyard. We have a short gate to enclose the back half of the driveway—it keeps small and medium dogs in, but it does not lock to keep people out, but our neighborhood is very safe. Our driveway is only one car-length’s width at the entrance, then widens as you get back toward the garage, so prior communication about arrival and departure times is important, so we can move our vehicles out of the way for you.

We are situated in a cozy suburb of Chicago that has a small-town feel with lots of vintage houses and large, shady trees. We have an RV ourselves and love camping out.
