There are several choices on where to park your rig, all in the forest, two of them overlooking a lake, none with amenities. There is ample firewood on the ground for a campfire. There are railroad tracks and a siding 100 yards from the rig areas with a few trains each day, some train noise but manageable from my perspective. We are located near the Nemadji state forest which has hundreds of miles of Atv trails. Within 50 miles there is fishing, hiking, Duluth and Superior, Jay Cooke State Park, Amsoil Arena, and the Bong museum. Please clear your site by 1 pm in case there are back to back reservations.

A very peaceful place and layed back. We enjoyed the fire pit and benches. A great place to stay. I would definitely stop again!

We stayed Thursday evening. It is even more wonderful than described! The wooden benches by the fire pit make this woodsy experience delightful. Thanks for sharing your expansive, peaceful property with others.

We arrived just before dark and left very early as we are doing the Lake Superior Circle Tour. We had a very restful night.

This location is great! Its scenic and overlooking a small lake. The firepit and seating area are a great option; we decided not to subject ourselves to the bloodthirsty mosquitos, and so we didnt take advatage of it. But I imagine in cooler weather it would be wonderful to use. The location was perfect for us: we visited Moose Lake State Park, Nemadji State Forest, Duluth, and Superior. We are so grateful they share their property with BW so that people like us, who prefer quiet, have some great options to camp at. The location is easy to find and the hosts were friendly and accommodating. Loved our stay here!
