Driveway, one side for van, car or truck. Many amenities close by. Suggested Local Attractions:Two city parks one you can ride bike/walk for days the other has rest rooms basket ball and tennis racket courts in addition to a track and playground with picnic tables, restrooms and barbecue area. Large Mall just a short walk south on the canal/park wide sidewalk bike skate walk. Keep going south for the city of Peoria (Rio Vista Park) work out facility. As well as work out it is a park with batting cages, Starbucks, baseball fields and playground with splash pad and barbecue areas. Wide variety of stores, food or beverage establishments north within walking distance. Walmart, Sam's club, fast food, hairdresser and banking

camper and van living lifer Details: No HOA any inquiries your my guests/friends. The spot is in my driveway for 19 ft long or less, length includes spare tire and any add on to your rv, not level but not too much of an incline. Over the sidewalk restricted by the city fines. Park near the basketball hoop and I can come and go from my garage. There is a free dump spot on 83rd and Grand Avenue, less then eight miles away. Water hose long enough to reach to fill up if you like, located to the left of the front door. Back yard available for pets, enjoying sun, grill if you have one. Home Town: From north east and traveled the east coast, homes in PHX area for over thirty years. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Ones that don't cost anything and are quiet. This was my first time to Phoenix and Louann provided such driveway hospitality! Her location is very convenient with many stores nearby including a Planet Fitness to get your weekly shower in and a Walmart to replenish supplies if needed. She was super flexible on timing and responded quickly to all messages. She also extended my stay for an extra day which was super appreciated. On a side note, the road can be slightly noisy with cars and occasional airplanes flying by. Other than that, I'm very grateful to have stopped here! Thank you!

I have been using harvest host for a couple of years now, but just added boondockers welcome and the golf courses on this current trip, because I found a few spots that didn't have much harvest host coverage. This Phoenix stop was my first Boondockers Welcome stay, and it was lovely. There is street parking for a larger vehicles, but my 19.5 ft camper van was the Goldilocks just right size for the driveway. The family was so friendly and offered their backyard for letting my little dogs have a little run, which they welcomed, and I even had the opportunity to talk, travel and birding and learn about the region from my incredibly welcoming host. The traffic is a little loud during the day, but that much better at night time so I slept well. Even spotted my favorite bird, a hummingbird, at the backyard feeder!

I enjoyed my stay at this Boondockers Welcome host. Parking was great for my Class B campervan. Communication was easy and clear. I enjoyed meeting the host and visiting with them. I would stay here again.
