we are on a river which leads to the ocean, we are 2kms from Green Park Provincial park. 2 minutes from beautiful downtown Tyne Valley in the western side of beautiful Prince Edward Island. Spectacular sunsets. We recommend uncoupling your towed vehicle upon arrival to our lane. Its a sharp turn. Please arrive during the afternoon, anytime after 1pm but prefer b4 supper time. Please advise arrival time - or a good guess works too. Suggested Local Attractions:Potato Museum in O'leary. Tea House in Tyne Valley. A quaint little tea house. West Cape and North Cape as well as Skinner's Pond the home of Bud the Spud - Stompin' Tom. Abram's Village - noted for its French culture.

House Rules

Prefer no smoking. At very least take your cigarette ends with you or dispose of in the firepit. NO Generators after 10pm. Please turn outside lights off when you retire. We do live in the country - so we have multiple wild animals - skunks, fox, raccoons and even the occasional sighting of bald eagles - keep this in mind if you have small pets that need walking later in the evenings or even through out the day... We do have wifi but on an ask us basis (password required) besides - it pretty much only works in the house or back yard.. we are on country internet - lucky to have internet is more like it!. we like the - pack it in - pack it out concept... leave the spot nicer than you found it - mind you it should be just fine. clean up after your pets is a MUST. Arrivals after 1pm. Departures before lunch. Please advise your eta. Mostly - ENJOY your stay. :)

Doug and Mindy were gracious hosts. We enjoyed touring their converted bus and were amazed by the stories of their travels in it to Alaska. We had a very red PEI muddy day that prevented us from more time together. We are grateful for the electric they ran over to us from their garage.

Enjoyed our 2 night stay. There is a remarkable view of the night sky. We enjoyed chatting with Doug & Mindy and appreciated the knowledge they shared with us. Being from Florida i was unfamiliar with the term "laneway." Fortunately we stopped on the road before making the turn onto the road (laneway) where we would be staying. It all was good!

We so Enjoyed meeting Doug and Mindy. They were very kind and gracious and gave us a lot of ideas of things to do around the island. We absolutely love Boondocker’s welcome and are so thankful for those people that participate with Boondocker’s welcome and allow us to stay in their yard, driveway, etc. It is truly a blessing to have these places to stay especially when you are out on long trips for several months. It certainly helps not having to pay nightly at a campground. So thank you very much Doug and Mindy for allowing us to stay with you. We enjoyed seeing your bus and the way you travel. Safe travels to you.
