RV enthusiasts travelling with 2 cats Details: My husband and I love to travel in our Class A. We enjoy dry camping mostly and staying at national parks. We usually travel 7 months out of the year. However, recently we are staying closer to home to be near my folks. We live in a cabin style home. We ebike old logging roads, fish, kayak and cut wood for the winter. We travel with two cats. One is an adventure kitty on a leash and rides on my bike. The other kitty is a reluctant camper but loves to watch from the windows. Lately we make short trips to visit Lake Superior- 60 min north of us. Most of my family lives in the U.P. Home Town: Our home is near the border of upper Michigan. We live in the Chequamegon National Forest. My grandfather logged here in the 40's. Most of my family is within 60 miles from us. We are 12 miles from the nearest MI town and 22 miles from the nearest Wisconsin town. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We love to dry camp anywhere in the Southwest. We found we loved the desert.

We stayed here on our way through to the Porcupine mountains. The hosts are so friendly and accommodating, we were able to park under their carport and keep the rain off overnight. And it is so quiet, it is a great place to unplug. We enjoyed a sound and restful sleep. It's worth the trip through Alvin to stay here.

Our hosts were very accommodating, we had a wonderful site and appreciated the peaceful setting. Would definitely recommend this host! Lack of cell service is as described.

Our hosts were so kind and welcoming! We really enjoyed chatting with them and touring their gorgeous home and RV. The parking space they let us use was flat and nestled in the trees - so perfect! We’ll definitely be back if we come through the area again.
