located in Greater Vancouver, close to highway 1 in Burnaby. Quiet home in quiet neighbourhood with a laneway access where I park my 23' Pleasureway when it isn't in the garage. We can give you access to our rooftop putting green and sitting area where we have a lovely view. It is a cozy urban location, in a fascinating city that is growing rapidly. Suitable for smaller rvs. Suggested Local Attractions:Burnaby's Deer Lake is a nice walk. Metrotown is a major shopping mall connected to transit. Vancouver is not far.

new grandparents ... retired engineer / entrepreneur ....active film producer Details: We are Vancouver-born BC-ers based outside of vancouver and also have a place in whistler. I am a generalist ... an engineer, entrepreneur, skier, golfer, hiker, outdoors-lover. Basically clean-green in outlook and prefer to visit small-town local coffee shops and avoid big-city mayhem. Yet we live in the city, thus the need to "get out of town". Home Town: Vancouver - Burnaby - Whistler - Sea to Sky Highway ... is where we live. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Enjoyed Joshua Tree BLM ... but staying in BC under covid 2020 Skills or Expertise to Share: generalist. not expert at any one thing. so much to learn ... so much to know ... and blessed with everything we ever wanted. I'm a tech entrepreneur, now helping others build their businesses.

Made a request using their calendar. Unfortunately, it took the host 5 days to answer and declined our stay.

Was warmly greeted and shown around the property, including where to park, electric and water access, and sitting area with view of city that we could use. Host was very personable and chatted with us about his interests and research findings from our hometown, which were intriguing. We had easy access to host for anything that we needed but had plenty of privacy and ability to come and go as we needed. Will definitely stay here again when back in town as host was very personable and location was close to everything. Thank you @jackgin for a great first #BoondockersWelcome experience!

Loved our 2 night stay with Jackgin. Our RV was tucked into a cozy location with access to water and electricity. Short walk to bus station for easy access to beautiful new shopping mall and skytrain to Vancouver. Jackgin was very accommodating, personable and helpful. This is a gem of a location! Thanks again Jackgin!

Jack is a gentleman, his spot is a quiet haven in the midst of the big city. All the amenities in a true urban hideaway. Thank you so much for providing a port in the storm! Highly recommended.

Our visit at Urban Hideaway was really wonderful. At the tail end of a long and challenging trip for medical care, we found his hospitality and friendliness a great "Welcome back to Canada". His spot is a central and convenient and yet somehow a cozy corner magically tucked away from the noise and bustle of the city! We slept deeply in this quiet spot. Every mod con is available and these hosts couldn't be more kind. We cannot recommend them too highly!
