Rural setting in gateway to Finger Lakes Details: I am a regular RV'er and owner of a Winnebago View. Our setting is not the most scenic but we are only about 5 miles off I 86 and 20 minutes south of Watkins Glen. We are in a valley away from most traffic with plenty of deer, fox and other critters to entertain. Our hobbies include boating, kayaking, car restoration and dog rescue. Home Town: We live in Horseheads NY. Favorite Boondocking Locations: New to boondocking...will update this profile as I get better at it. Skills or Expertise to Share: I have acquired and eclectic set of hobbies over the years and would be happy to talk about anything really. I'm an engineer working in manufacturing. My husband restores and races cars. I have done lots of running and triathlons. At home I have done scrapbooking, quilting, music and flower gardening. I have been heavily involved with dog rescue.

Enjoyed so much my 2 nights at this place, close to Corning and its Glass museum. The proposed area to park the RV was secluded and very quiet at night. I would recommend anytime!

Stayed here three nights with our combined 47ft truck and trailer. We opted to park in the gravel rectangle in the picture. Very quiet here and close to town. We used our cell booster and didn't have any trouble being able to work from here. We did not get to meet the host but appreciate her letting us stay!

Instructions to access were good. Communication quick. Flexible arrival as location is away from house and no guidance needed. Didn't meet the host.
