Acreage on county road. There is a train track within 1 mile but it does not bother us. Quiet area, a small town 2 miles away with a grocery store, dollar store, and a few places to get some "close to home-cooked" meals. You would park on the side of our detached garage which is a gravel drive. Suggested Local Attractions: Freeport, Bryan, and Sargent Beach are 30 minutes away. Both the San Bernard River and Brazos river are within 15 minutes to access. Fishing areas close by.

Cernice was just a fantastic host. She had multiple suggestions and gave us a quiet, safe place to stay. Close to a local grocery store, laundromat, and playground (for those with kiddos). They run their own business, so trucks and equipment drive past your camper while you're there, but it was no bother to us. GREAT service for Verizon and T-Mobile if you need to know! If you have a dog, be aware that you should not attempt to walk them down the road. My dog and I walk about 2 miles daily, but not here! Towards the end of the road, there were dogs who attempted to chase us (got out from under their fence), and another dog, who was not fenced in, left their yard but listened when I told him to go home. Other than the dogs-which was not the host's problem at all-, this was a fantastic stay with a gracious host!

Cernice was very nice & helpful. There is a train that goes by several times a day & night, less than a mile away, but it's not too bad. The site was very close to level, with 30 amp power at the front corner of the garage, & water/sewer at the back corner of the garage. We spent 2 relaxing days there.

Such a lovely hostess & host. Great spot on their property with easy access in, and generous to have electrical and water hookup. These are wonderful people with helpful info for those who are wanting to know of future RV sights to experience. God willing, we will be back for sure.
