Iowanice x 2 Details: Hi! ~Ron and I are the proud owners of a teardrop camper named Wall-E. After many years of tent camping with three scouts and on family vacations, we decided to finally get up off the ground. We've owned Wall-E for 5 years and have close to 25,000 miles seeing the US and Canada. ~We are currently empty nesters of 4 "sometimes" wonderful kids. We have 3 grand kids which we never see enough of. Looking forward to teaching them the great sport of camping and seeing the country. ~ Ron and I are both still employed as we have very expensive hobbies. We both love to cycle and always include RAGBRAI on our yearly calendar and we're both on ski patrol at the local family ski resort. ~ We love meeting new people and seeing new sights. Life is too short to stay in one place. Home Town: Bettendorf, Iowa

Spent a relaxing day in Quad Cities (free bike rental @ Visitors Center in Moline, visited Lock #15 Dam @ the Rock Island Arsenal) and ended it with a restful, calm night @ Wall-E’s World. Beautiful home in a quiet suburban area with very kind hosts. The lanscaped yard was a colorful repreive from freeways and concrete.

We were warmly greeted at this lovely site and the hists could not be more friendly or open. It’s a gorgeous neighborhood, nice and flat, with tall sheltering trees. The kids took the dogs for a nice walk - our hosts even helped with that! - but no one was sleepy so we regretfully pressed on. This is a great place!

Generous hosts, quiet street parking, electric hookup available, made for a really nice stay. Terrific biking options available too! And we really appreciated the chocolate chip cookies Missy gave us after our ride!

Our host was there to meet us and help get us parked. Very gracious and friendly giving things in the area to go and do. The location was in a beautiful area of homes and parks. Great walking or biking available. We had access to power and water which we did not need, but appreciated the options. If you are in the area, this is a don't miss location. And the cookies were an added pleasure.

Wow! What can I say? Fantastic hosts who go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and welcomed. I must also mention that the information given to us about the local bike trails and local attractions was extremely helpful. We also were given tasty cookies. The neighborhood is beautiful, family friendly and connected to a wonderful trail system. If I could give this host extra stars I would. 🌟 👍👍 Highly recommended!
