One acre rural desert location. Can accommodate extra rigs if no hookups are needed. In the middle of the McMullen Valley and surrounded by beautiful mountains with hundreds of off road and hiking trails. Pets can be off leash anywhere but the property is not fenced. Excellent Verizon, AT&T, and T-mobile service. Others have not been tested.

Winter desert dwellers and hockey lovers Details: We’re retirees from California now calling Arizona our winter home. We love to explore the desert and surrounding mountains in our side by side. In the summer we travel the country. Home Town: We call Salome Az home these days. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Favorite location so far was just outside Bryce Canyon National Park. Skills or Expertise to Share: Wayne is an electrician and Cristine is a web designer and blogger.

the spot we stayed in had a great view of the surrounding desert beautiful mountains in the background and amazing sunsets. I did’nt get a chance to meet Wayne however Christine and her father provided great conversation and interesting stories about the area. We had full hook up and were allowed an extra day we loved it so much.

We stayed a night and it was a level and very quiet spot. It was easy to get in and out.

We were unable to meet Wayne and Cristine, but they were quick to respond to questions, and had great communication. We spent a quiet, comfortable night with two other rigs, on their property.

Wayne & Christine’s spot is truly a slice of heaven in the desert! We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights in the Arizona desert and know we’ll be back one day. Our small dog loved all the smells and we appreciated the hook ups and kind neighbours. A great place to surround yourself with the mountains. Oh, and the sunsets are epic! You’ll love it here.

Plenty of room for my 70+ foot rig. Room to turn around without detaching. Excellent amenities! So nice for full hook ups! Hosts are the sweetest people! Very helpful and knowledgeable. Met at drive and guided into spot. Amazing sunsets and sunrises. Will stay again.
