We live in the small town of Rockton. We have recently been restoring this 1924 Brick Home to its potential beauty. Nice city lot with a decent driveway. 30 AMP Electric available. Traffic is busy during school days at start and finish time, otherwise fairly nice. Suggested Local Attractions:Public pool a couple blocks away and rivers nice for boating and paddling also nearby. Great Homemade Ice Cream at the Dairy Haus (Seasonal). Excellent Pizza at Sam's Pizza. Visit the Rockton Township Historical Society for info on early settlers and old homes. Many good pubs within minutes for great food. Six block walk to small town, river, parks. Not too far from Lake Geneva or Madison Wisconsin. Fontana on Lake Geneva is close and offers a pathway around the lake where you can see some beautiful lakefronts up close.

Enjoy the roads less traveled with my wife (and daughter when she can). Details: My wife and I are both teachers, college and elementary education. We have three daughters, youngest still in High School, middle daughter graduated college as engineer and just married. Eldest daughter graduated college as teacher, married and raising our grandson. Our older kids don't get to travel with us much. It is usually just the two of us and our youngest daughter nowadays. We spend quite a bit of time during the Summer just boondocking at our family cabin in Wisconsin. We enjoy biking, hiking, boating, canoeing, and meeting new friends. 2021 we sold our second 30+ ft RV and downsized to a new 20 ft Little Guy Max Teardrop Trailer. We are anxious to explore even more with this setup! Home Town: Rockton, IL located at the state line of IL and WI. / Almost equal time spent WI at the Cabin. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We had a nice stop coming back from Yellowstone at a place near Billings MT. We have not actually boondocked more the one time so far. We have hosted a couple dozen or more RVers at our home. Skills or Expertise to Share: Enjoy cooking on the smoker. I teach engineering and manufacturing classes. So, CAD, hydraulics, CNC, Robotics. Lots of boating, skiing, wakeboarding, fishing and nonsense. Also love biking and downhill skiing and snowmobiling.

Tom greeted us and helped our long trailer park, although it was easy. We went around the block to access the garage pad from the north. Tom and Mindy have a beautiful home and yard, and Tom was kind and friendly as he chatted with us about family and traveling. We walked to the downtown area which was quaint with shops and eats. Highly recommend!

Tom and Mindy were great hosts. Enjoyed our conversations and playing with their dog Thumper! Large yard for dogs to play and nice level parking . Would stay again when in area . Electric is available

This was a nice level site on a beautiful property in town. Was very simple to back or 26 ft trailer in and stay hooked up to our pickup. Host was very friendly and accommodating. Would stay again if we were ever back in the area.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to meet the hosts, but it was easy to find and make myself comfortable. Their backyard is beautiful and serene. I would definitely return if passing through again.

Though we gave short notice we were welcomed, even though the owners were traveling at the time. Great communication and a nice level asphalt driveway with power 4ft away. We stayed one night. Regrettably we never did meet our hosts. Perhaps the next time we come thru. Thankful fot a safe, quiet anchorage.
