Our home is on a 2-acre lot with a large gravel parking area that is "level'ish". We are approximately 6 miles north of I-20 and 10-15 minutes from restaurants and shopping in Midland. There is a grocery store and Walmart with 9 miles. Use Google Maps for directions, the neighborhood is new and does not show up on most GPS systems.

My wife and I are currently "weekend warriors" for a few more years when we can finally retire and be on the road for, well as long as we like! We travel with our two rescue dogs that are well behaved, quiet and friendly (Sammy and Echo). We are traveling in a Class A with a Jeep Wrangler in tow.

We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and enjoyed chatting with the hosts for a bit. The site was perfect: flat, quiet and easy to get to. We have a van but the site would be also great for really big rigs.

This was our first BW site and it was fantastic. Parking was easy, level and plenty of room for our truck and 36’ 5’er.

Stopping at my 1/2 point from Dallas to Carlsbad, I landed at this West Texas location. Had a lovely talk with Scott and saw his amazing RV. It was a chilly night and I was so happy to be able to plug in. I love this boondocking community!
