Rural area. Neighbors within shouting distance, but in the country. Pines and hardwoods surround the property. This is a birder's paradise and we have feeders out. The area is spectacular in the Fall. We have a gate. It's quiet. You can see the stars at night, hear the owls hooting in the trees and see fireflies during warm, moist evenings. Wilderness Battlefield is nearby as is Chancellor Battlefield and Mine Run battlefield. Minutes away: Gordonsville about 40 Fredericksburg 30 Culpeper 30 D.C. 2.5-3 hrs Richmond, 1.5 hrs or so Rapidan River, 4 miles We're new to the area so we're just finding out where things are ourselves. Walmart supercenter is 20 min away, Food Lion, 15 min Gas station, Exxon, with air, propane, diesel, gas is 10 min. She is an herbalist and essencier [flower essences], he is an IT engineer. I'm not sure wifi will reach to the gate, it doesn't for us. The space is near the gate. It's AT&T.

Location

At the current time, 6.1.23 we can only accept guests in the summer, June thru whenever the rains start, maybe October. due to the area being dirt. There is a small turnaround area before you get to our gate, where you can turn around to back in. The gate is 12 wide. The entire lane is gravel from the main road. We are the last house, left side. I can't find the space of how many days allowed to stay, it would be 3.

Janine was great! So friendly and opened her home up to me for a hot shower and good conversation. Let me have a tour of her van, as well. A nice quiet neighborhood and a good night’s sleep.
