We love life. Details: Self employed empty nesters that love to travel and meet new people and see new sights. We live in the country ourselves and enjoy nature and quiet settings. Watching the sunrise and set is one of our favorite things to do. Home Town: We live in the country in the center of Kansas. We are fortunate to have beautiful views of the Smoky Valley and beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We love to boondock around lakes and quiet country settings. Skills or Expertise to Share: We love DIY and built our own Natural Swim Pond in 90 days the summer of 2018. We are not afraid to tackle projects around our home.

We requested a stay last minute as we were passing through. Thankfully, Whispering Ass Ranch was able to accommodate us and we are so glad they did. We had a wonderful stay. Very nice hosts. We wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely recommend. They are welcome at our Boondockers Welcome in the PNW anytime. Thanks again!

Wonderful, peaceful respite after a long travel day. Beautiful sunset and sunrise were delivered as advertised! We did not partake in the power and water hookups as we were trying out our new solar install! Easy on and off I-135 . Great communication with Angie during the day with ETA, and Jay met us with welcomes and smiles. Level. Gravel parking with plenty of room to turn around( we were too tired to listen carefully and Jay was kind enough to redirect! We stayed hooked up and we’re on the road again in the morning. Definitely would recommend this as a stop and would have loved to spend more time there. Thanks Angie and Jay for sharing your lovely Whispering Ass Ranch-I never did get the back story on the name🤔!!

We we greeted when we arrived, very friendly and kind host. Communication was great as well as directions. Plenty of room to turn around and having power is such a plus! Wish I would’ve asked how they got the name for their spot!

Angie and Jay were wonderful hosts. They communicated regularly via text before and during our stay. Their property was easy to get to and easy to park at. The hookups were especially appreciated on a cold night in October. It was very quiet and peaceful.

Our very first experience with a BW host. Very impressed. Lots of room to turn around. Perfectly level parking area. Was far enough away from the house for full privacy. Big pasture that we were able to play ball with our dog. Great host .Thank you Jay and Angie
