House Rules
1. No smoking on the property 2. Pets must be on leash and any deposits left on the ground need to be picked up. 3. Leave it as you found it, we will accept your trash, place it in the refuse container. 4. Since we provide a full set of RV electrical hook-ups (see item 8 below) at a very low cost, we would prefer no genset usage. 5. Arrivals normally will be after 1pm if the site was previously occupied the day/night prior otherwise there is no restriction on arrival times prior to midnight. Arrivals will need to be coordinated in advance so that we are present upon your arrival, preferably 48 hours notice but last minute is ok prior to midnight. 6. Departures need to occur by 12pm if there is a reservation for that day, otherwise departure time is flexible. 7. RV washing is not permitted, the water rates of our county rural water system are high. A hydrant connection to our household water is available for domestic use. 8. The cost of providing the RV park type electrical hook-up was very expensive. We have a metered hook-up connection and expect coverage of the KWH of use based on our actual home per KWH rate (e.g. 13 cents April 2022). In addition, but not required, a minimal donation towards that facility (and any water usage) would be appreciated 9. You will be parked along the east side of our property line, please avoid any activity that crosses the property line. We have good neighbors and desire to maintain that relationship. 10. Children are welcome to engage in outdoor play, please ensure play is away from flower beds and the street, the area behind the house is open. There is a fire-pit and picnic table and firewood for guest use behind the metal storage building. Please check with host on availability. 11. Exception to the 4 night stay maximum will be considered in the advent of a health or other urgent issue provided such extension does not conflict with other reservations or our personal calendar. 12. Propane grills are ok, please no charcoal grills. 13. The hosts reserve the right to require guests to depart at any time, if activity by the guests or their pets are deemed a nuisance and the guests decline to cease the activity.
Location
Access Road Conditions: all weather chip and seal county street. Driveway is crushed asphalt with some small gravel. Driveway is wide enough for small TT to u-turn in the driveway. Most RV's will need to back in. Tow Vehicle: we recommend pulling directly into driveway, unhooking then parking the vehicle alongside the garage. Then back out into the street then backing into parking spot on east side of driveway in front of tow vehicle. Suggest viewing location on Google satellite view to become familiar with location.

We would highly recommend this host. Ken walked up the road to make sure no traffic was coming while we backed in. Nice wide driveway and easy access. 50 amp service was especially appreciated since they were having a cold snap and the night time temperatures were in the teens. Convenient location with easy access to Topeka.

This is one of the nicest boondocking experience I've had in my years on the road. From giving comprehensive directions and sharing time talking with me about the area and their own RV adventures, it was a pleasure for the nights I stayed. I would highly recommend Wide Drive and hope to make it back there someday soon.

Very friendly & hospitable hosts! They approved a same day stay request and greeted us when we arrived. They showed us where to park (which was a pretty level area in their nice wide driveway), allowed us to plug in (for a very small, reasonable electric fee) and then gave us some recommendations of a nearby dump station and also local places to eat dinner that weren’t too far away. The neighborhood was quaint and quiet, overall a nice place to park. We highly recommend this host!!
