This is bare land. High country desert landscape. It's also peaceful and quiet. The sunsets and sunrises are gorgeous. At night the view of the stars is spectacular. Suggested Local Attractions: In the town of snowflake there are several great places to eat. I highly recommend, Eva's, Streets on Main, and coffee at The Perkatory.

Host is kind and warm and she’s right, sunsets are amazing 🤩 but I got lost to get there and to get out of there… GPS, Google maps, Plan from Apple and even Road Atlas, thoses streets do not appear or appear at the wrong place. An improvement of the localisation of the host with a PEN or GPS coordinates would make a huge difference

Pretty easy to book and communtication and directions were actually ok until we got to the end of Terry Road as explained. Thankfully the host did spot us and showed us the driveway to pull in. There is no number or sign to know where to turn and this is a secluded location. The roads are not meant for large RV’s. We made with our 35ft motorhome but thankfully my husband is a skilled driver, definitely took lots of time and patience and yes very worried about the jacks and ruts in the road. Cell service was spotty to non existence. It is however a very quiet location!

We tried, we really tried to find this location. First, the page gives directions from Hwy 277, which leaves Hwy 77 and heads south. However, opposite this junction is another road called Snowflake Boulevard and that's the road you need to take to find Old Woodruff. The turn from Old Woodruff on to Raven had no sign, but the one on the corner of Raven and Terry did. When we got to the end of Terry and re-read the directions that the last gate on the left would be left open for us, we turned around and found the gate. But there was no address marker or name on the gate and it seemed to just empty into a field. We gave up trying at this point so I hope we are not considered a no show. Then we were part way back and the host messaged us that they actually lived on Skyline.

Sites are large and fairly level. Any size rig will fit here. That said, BEWARE of the last 2.5 miles. It was very rough. It took 17 minutes to drive it. We have a 42' rig and we made it with no damage, but we were really worried about our jacks. In our opinion this location would be better suited for smaller rigs because of the rough road. The approximately 40 minute drive to Woodruff is very scenic. Communication with hosts was great.

We had a wonderful time here once we finally arrived. The directions were a challenge to follow and the condition of the roads may have made me change my mind but I’m glad we didn’t. Fortunately my host came and found me! Seeing all the animals is still one of my granddaughters favorite things.
