This in-town space is a quiet street location in front of my home, max of 72hrs by city ordinance. Tis the season, so there are lights on houses. May be able to provide an extension cord with notice and a potable water hose to fill a tank(but not too be connected). There is also an RV dump station nearby on White Sands Blvd. If you require/use electricity, I ask for a donation in the amount of the BoondockersWelcome guidelines to https://EFF.org or https://plannedparenthood.org https://plannedparenthood.org/donate or https://supporters.eff.org/donate or cash, I do not have any digital payment services set up. Due to some guests non-compliance, I ask that you have proof of your donation/cash when you arrive if you are going to be using electricity. If we don't respond to a stay request, please don't be offended, we are probably out traveling. Suggested Local Attractions: Lots of local hiking, space history museum, Toy Train Depot, White Sands National Park, Alamogordo Zoo and Alameda Park, as well as Valley of Fires. Trails in Cloudcroft are nice when it's too hot at the lower elevations, when it's cold enough they also have New Mexico's only natural ice skating rink. A bit farther away but worth visiting, Carlsbad Caverns NP, White Sands Missile Range Museum, Riverbend Hot Springs in TorC, Ruidoso, Prehistoric Trackways National Monument in Las Cruces.

If you are parking in the driveway, please stay to the far left(South) on the concrete and not drive or park in the rocks. The following is a direct quote by Boondockers Welcome regarding power usage by guests: “Donation Guidelines for Guests: If a host hasn't requested payment and you've used AC or heating, (offer $5 to $10 per night depending on the size of your rig)”.

Imthis HH stay never materialized due to technology and high winds. I requested a Same-Day stay at a location a dar drive away but I did not hear back to confirm. But I needed to get on the road so reached our again. The host was lively and squd he had tried to confirm. ur the system would not let him bur he said to come. However after driving a few hours I encountered seriously high winds. Decided it was safer to seek either a truck stop ot ither nearby location.

We met Will and his son and had a really pleasant chat. We parked on the street in front of his house because the driveway was tilted. It was a nice quiet neighborhood and he had great recommendations for things to do the next day. Recommend.

It was a joy to meet Will and William and share thoughts and travel stories. They are 2 very nice and kind men. They helped me with a problem with my back up camera. I parked on the street and it was quiet and safe. I was glad that power was available. I would recommend this host and hope to stay there again if I'm in the area. Very grateful for these hosts.
