Retired nurse and civil engineer Details: We are Gary and Rhonda. We have raised our family of five boys near Lansing, Michigan (in Laingsburg - aka "the burg"). We enjoy "quiet living" - across the street from Lake Victoria - and 3 miles from Sleepy Hollow State Park. We have taken our vintage RV on a couple out of state trips, one to the New England area and one to the upper Midwest are, visiting many microbreweries and state parks. We are still ironing out the kinks and learning the ropes. So if anyone has advice - feel free. Home Town: Laingsburg, Michigan Favorite Boondocking Locations: We have visited wine country near Traverse City and have stayed in Holland and Ludington near Lake Michigan. We have also stayed at nearby Sleepy Hollow State Park. Skills or Expertise to Share: None - still learning!

I had such a wonderful stay here. Rhonda and Gary are so welcoming! We had a lovely conversation around the campfire and a perfect place to park and rest after some very busy weeks. I left with new friendships to hold in my heart and hope I will be back one day. Thank-you!

We had an amazing evening staying here. Sat on the deck overlooking a lovely pond nestled in the woods. Had interesting (in a good way) conversations and great drinks. A flat place to park, utilities to hook up, and a peaceful morning. It’s worth your time to drive through Lansing just to be hosted by these two.

My hosts were very kind and generous, and it was a lovely stay. They provided a comfortable and beautiful place to park with all of the amenities, and welcomed me in their home as well.

Originally bella_mina was a second choice as they were more than an hour east of our destination but our stay turned out to be the highlight of our weekend. The spot designated for our RV was perfect. Unable to meet us upon arrival they had assured us we could make ourselves comfortable on their patio and enjoy their wonderful back yard. They were such welcoming and gracious hosts and now new friends. Definitely a positive and memorable stay.
