we have 10 acres mostly wooded, small pond not far away. Have plenty of room to just relax and enjoy the quiet. You may hear a train (track about 1 1/2 miles away) Pets are welcome but. We do love animals. My husband is a collector. So be advised that there is a lot of "junk" around the property. Suggested Local Attractions:Burger Smokehouse, Jefferson City (state capital) 20 miles away. Warm Springs Cyleddale farm and Casino in Boonville, MO. Hermann winerys with driving distance. Sedalia (Missouri State Fair) about 30 miles west. Mid way between St. Louis and Kansas City, south of Columbia and Mizzou

I truly had such a splendid time here at the Winters property. Tom and Joanne are so friendly and very accomodating. They made me feel like family and for that I am eternally grateful. The property is pretty spacious and quiet. The town is small but has most of what you need. 2 grocery stores, dollar tree, beer/liquor store, even a cool indoor antique/flea market shop and a bowling alley. There’s also a bit of history there. Very cool, good energy place. Will defintely stop again if they are along my route. Thanks again :)

Could not have enjoyed the stay more - hosts were friendly and kind, and the property was picturesque looking out over a private pond. Frogs and crickets lull you to sleep, highly recommend as a stopover on your travels!

Plenty of room to turn in and turn around for us. Tom and Joanne are wonderful and accommodating. It is special to get to park and look out over the pond. Our son really enjoyed this spot and seeing all of Tom's machines!
