Retired professional couple. Details: We built and have lived in this home 40 years. Our careers were in Wildlife and GIS mapping. We walk, hike, bicycle, paddle and are interested in natural history, plants and animals. We have four adult children, two living near Whitehorse and two in Alberta. Life is GOOD! Home Town: Our home has been in Whitehorse for 48 years. This is a busy, interesting and beautiful place. We love to share our love of Yukon with visitors. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Although we have hosted many folks, we have only stayed twice at another host location. We hope to avail ourselves of the opportunity one day soon. Skills or Expertise to Share: We are fairly knowledgeable about local trails, wildlife and arts scenes and always happy to share.

The location is lovely and conveniently close to Whitehorse. The hosts were very nice and even provided coffee and conversation in the morning. I’ll definitely contact them on my next trip to Whitehorse.

This stay was absolutely perfect. The site we used is nicely level and the vegetation provides a lot of privacy. Also, it is marvelous to look out the window at wildflowers and trees. We didn't know about the power outlet nearby but it turns out we didn't need it. Staying here with these busy people was a real treat, and we hope we can stay with them again on our southbound journey.

We had two nights at this lovely location, which gave us some much-needed rest! Unfortunately, it was cold & rainy nearly the entire stay, so we didn't get an opportunity to take a hike with our hosts on their property. But it was a nice quiet place to stay and convenient for shopping, museums and other sightseeing in town. Our interactions with Harvey and Ann were limited due to the weather but each one was lovely. We'd definitely stay here again, given the opportunity. Thank you so much Harvey and Ann!
