Down a quiet road, 3 miles off a highway, in a woodsy scenic area. HEAT: The regularly available outlet is 15A. If you need access to 30A to run your a/c, message me. Note: GPS stops short of actual location. When you're on the way call for directions. Please be vaccinated, as we are! Our driveway is off a dirt/gravel road and there is a small hill downward to the driveway circle. It's easy to turn with a small trailer camper, if your rig is too big call me to arrange an option. There's a standard electric outlet available (and a hose if needed) $5 per night is appreciated if used. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, but please stay on leash to protect (and protect from) the local wildlife. Please scoop the poop. If we're in, our dog will bark on arrival until we introduce you. No loud music please, no nighttime generator, there aren't many neighbors but we don't want to inconvenience them. Bring bug spray! As with most of New England, there are ticks in the high grass/brush/woods, so check yourself &/or dogs carefully when you come in. If you need help id'ing ticks just ask. ***No smoking (anything), no fires, because of high fire risk*** You're welcome to use our picnic table, basketball hoop, and stretch your legs along our woods paths. Stores and restaurants are an easy 15-20 minutes' drive, and 30-45 minutes to a couple state parks and beaches. It's a quiet mellow setting, right in front of our house and surrounded by woods, and if we're there or have guests, we expect to be friendly but independent. Swimming: It's a short drive to the town swimming hole with portapotty/changing stall and picnic tables. Suggested Local Attractions include Reid State Park beach, Popham Beach, the indoor/outdoor Maine Maritime Museum, a Monkey C Monkey Do ropes course. The nearby Town of Bath has an off-leash dog park next to the Maritime Museum, great restaurants/takeout, local groceries, art shops, and a library with free wifi.

Location
Access Road Conditions: We're a couple miles off the highway, and our driveway is a gravel (dirt) road- 15mph limit please. There are a few bumps. The driveway has a turnaround circle that can easily accommodate a teardrop trailer or small RV. I'm not that familiar with bigger vehicles, a recent visitor suggested a 25' max limit. If yours is a bit big for our driveway, an alternate site may be available, just off the road, nice views, 30amp electric outlet, a hose, and covered picnic table. Email to discuss. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Parking space available in the driveway. It's OK to park in front of the garage, just leave room for the trash cans.

Mid coast Woodsy Driveway is a very secluded spot. The last 1/2 before arriving the road narrows..prayed we would not meet anyone and we didn’t! Beautiful property …..got into driveway without any issues with our 30 footer. Thank you for your hospitality!

This was a beautiful, quiet, flat spot with woods and a view of the water. The host provided power, chairs, a picnic table, and great advice to find anything we might want/need. Absolutely perfect. One could just park and relax, which we did a lot of. While in the area, we also toured Bath, went in Redy’s a cute little store, and toured the Maine Military Museum, which was very interesting. Red’s was closed, but we fully enjoyed Sprague’s, across from Red’s. I heard its better than Red’s. It didn’t disappoint. Loved our stay in the Woodsy Midcoast Driveway! :)

We had no trouble accessing the magnificent property with our 25 ft class C. (We think longer rigs would be fine too.) Owner gave perfect directions and was super welcoming even though she wasn’t home and we never got to meet face to face. Large flat driveway with ample turn space. Would love to stay again! Thanks for sharing with us!
