Even though our host would not be at the camp we were graciously invited to stay for the night to break up our travel distance in reaching Gaspe Peninsula. It was perfect! Plenty of flat, open space before the gate to the cabin. We were even offered the opportunity to go down to use the firepit near the cabin but we chose to stay at the camper. Quiet, serene, very few deer flies, a rare car passing by. Excellant directions given for reaching this place in the woods— true boondocking!

We received excellent directions to get to this beautiful rustic spot in the woods. Friendly greeting by our host. We had a great conversation with him. He guided us into a nice cleared area for our stay and offered to bring us spring water should we need it. We had planned to stay two nights but stayed just one due to the deer flies and mosquitoes. They truly seemed to like us and our dogs. Unfortunately July is apparently a heavy month for these pesky things and August/September are much better. Recommended for people who love the woods, who have self sufficient units and probably no longer than 30 ft. Lots of places to hike and ride quads in the area and pretty little villages nearby.
