Come breathe fresh air and experience the Wonder of Nature here in the western mountains of Maine. Your Outdoors Happy Space is off the beaten path yet close to the town of Bethel. A quaint New England town with casual and upscale restaurants, a Gem Museum, grocery store and unique small town shopping. It has a local movie theatre and several pubs offer entertainment on weekends and in season mid-week. The area is a recreation haven. Spring to Fall activities include walking trails, hiking, biking, mountain biking, waterfalls, lakes for swimming, canoeing and kayaking, rock climbing, rock hounding, leaf peeping, fishing and assorted fun events at the ski areas. Winter brings alpine and cross country skiing, ice skating, ice fishing, snowshoeing, winter hiking, sledding, sleigh rides and dog sleds to name a few. You will park in your own "yard" and have access to most of the property. Pets are welcome with prior approval.

House Rules
Please park in the designated area and be respectful of others who may also be using the property. Quiet hours between 9pm and 7:30am which includes noisy generators. No noisy parties. No smoking other than in designated areas. Clean up your site before you leave. Contact me right away if there are any issues. Campfires only allowed in fire ring and if weather conditions are acceptable (light or no wind) and water is available at the fire ring.
Location
parking and site are on the west side of the road only. There is plenty of room to turn around and for additional vehicle parking . The road is a private gravel road and has two curves that are easily negotiated although may be slippery in winter.

Carol was a wonderful host and provided a tranquil and beautiful location for our first ever Harvest Host stay. The Fall colors were spectacular. Highly Recommend!

One night stay host let us camp even though she was not there. Plenty of room, got level on 2 legos very quite spot would recommend.

She is a lovely hostess at the end of the road, providing a great view plus these extras: Almost level parking area, a screened tent shelter, a charcoal BBQ grill, potable water, a nice swing with cushions, free firewood and fire pit. I think that is it. We highly recommend her.
