A donation of time or money to the farm is required for the stay. In leui of that, we would appreciate a visit to our partner restaurant Panacea Pizza. We are focused on sustainable living with projects like solar cabins, water collection, and various growing projects. Other fun things to do (within 5 miles) Otter Lake Recreation Area Otter Lake Recreation Area in Panacea is only minutes from the town and cooled by beautiful moss-draped oaks, making it a favorite picnic spot for locals and visitors alike. The scenic view of Cypress tree reflections in the still lake waters are worth a picture or two. A nice hiking trail circles the lake. Activities include picnicking, hiking, fishing, boating, nature photography, and wildlife viewing. Facilities include picnic tables and shelters, hiking trails, restrooms, boat launch for small boats with motor size limit of 10 horse power or less. Mashes Sands Beach MASHES SANDS BEACH is located at 801 Mashes Sands Road where Hwy. 98 intersects Ochlocknee Bay Bridge. The beach includes a pier and a boat ramp. The pier at Mashes Sands Island is closed due to damage from Hurricane Michael. For additional information please call the Park Office at 850-745-7780. Park Hours are from Sunrise to Sunset (sec 23.004 Wakulla County Code) Bald Point State Park Bald Point State Park is a Florida State Park located south of Ochlockonee Bay, approximately seven miles southeast of Panacea, on St. James Island in Alligator Point, Tallahassee's closest beach, off U.S. 98, in Franklin County northwestern Florida. The address is 146 Box Cut. Park was named after Bald Point cape on eastern tip of St. James Island in Ochlockonee Bay.
Parking & Arrival
Check in for parking instructions. The RV entry is off of Jer be Lou rd before you reach the property. The gate is across from the Wakulla Moose Lodge in Panacea. Please do NOT follow GPS as it will lead to our front entrance without a turnaround.
