Our property is conveniently located off the I-8, about 12 miles from downtown Yuma and minutes from Foothills shopping and restaurants. Gorgeous views of the Gila Mountains. Sunrise is a must see and the colors at sunset are beautiful! California, the Dunes, Martinez Lake, the Colorado River and Mexico are short drives from our property. There is an RV dump station ($9) at the Circle K gas station located west from our home, 3 miles down the Interstate.

We are both retired now and want to explore the country. We recently downsized from a 5th wheel to a travel trailer because the larger rig limited our spots to camp. We have been married for almost 36 years and have 2 grown children. We are non-smokers and have 3 dogs, but typically leave one of them with their grandparents. We are sticklers for rules and expect the same of others. We are gracious and appreciate fellow RVers who are respectable and friendly. We enjoy our space and take pride in leaving spots in better condition than when we arrived. We intend to be quiet guests whom you don't even know are there and will appreciate being hosted by you!

House Rules

Welcome to our little piece of heaven! We have a fire pit that guests are welcome to use, but please check with us first! Need to wind down from hours on the road? We have golf balls, clubs and a spot on the edge of our hill where you can take a couple swings, go for a stroll in the neighborhood or explore the wash area down the hill! Deb is an avid cornhole player and never turns down a chance to throw bags. Let her know if you are interested and she'll pull out the boards and bags! Johnny is Mr. Fix It, so if you have something that needs to be checked/fixed, feel free to ask! If you love beautiful sunrises, set your alarm clock, grab your coffee and then sit out on the patio set. We are non-smokers. If you wish to smoke, we ask that you please make sure you are down-wind from our home or inside your rig. We do not have any fencing, so, when our 3 dogs are outside, they will be visiting you! They are people and dog friendly! The blue trash bin is readily available for garbage and pup poo disposal! Thanks for choosing to stay with us! We would love for you to complete the Host Review!

Parking & Arrival

There is plenty of area to maneuver your trailer in the roadway in front of our driveway. (see pic) However, you'll need to back all the way into the spot as there is no area to pull through and/or turn around while on our property. (approx. 80') If necessary, Johnny can assist you with your trailer placement. A portion of the spot is gravel and the other is concrete, but it is a level area. Tow vehicle can remain attached as long as it isn't blocking access into our garage. It can also be parked on the west end of the driveway or in the street.
