About
HELLO! Please read everything before booking. Most of our cancellations are for things we've already answered here. First, follow us on Instagram or YouTube - @QuengaFarm to see what's going on around the farm. Have questions or want a tour, just ask when you get here. We love to talk farming. We mostly breed pigs and raise chickens for eggs and meat. We planted a small fruit orchard in 2023, hoping to have fruit starting in 2025+. We have Guinea Fowl, Ducks and a free-ranging Emu, mostly just for entertainment. We also have 2 Great Pyreness guardian dogs. They are the worst guard dogs ever and are super friendly, but they do bark a lot at night (their only job). We will always park guests away from them. Jason is a former US Marine (2004-2008, Finance), worked in supply chain / warehousing / logistics for the next 11 years, and is now a wannabe farmer. Katie works from home doing boring stuff that pays the bills. We have 3 boys, ages 7, 5 and 3, with an unknown due October 2024! We're 1,000% done after this one!! We were born and raised in the city with no farming experience. During the pandemic we started gardening and had a few backyard chickens. After an 8,000 mile, 7-week road trip in our camper, all over the US in 2021, we decided we wanted something different for ourselves and our boys. So, we sold our house in the city and moved to the country! On our trip we weren't able to use HH/BW once because no sites had hookups and we needed them as we traveled during the Summer. We met a lot of great people RVing, so after that experience we decided to host guests and provide hookups! We now have 2 electric spots! 1 is 50a, the other is 30a. We have adapters to take the 50a down to 30a if needed. You MUST put in the additional comments box when booking which site you'd like. If you just want to dry camp, please say so. Over 90% of our bookings are because we have hookups! Please do not request hookups and then ask to dry camp when you arrive. We sometimes have to turn away guests as the NEED the power. Please keep that in mind. We live in PAULDEN, AZ. Please map it. It is the number 1 excuse people cancel bookings last minute. Here are some travel times to popular spots: Grand Canyon - 1hr 40 minutes NORTH Williams, AZ - 45 minutes NORTH Prescott, AZ - 35 minutes SOUTH Sedona - 1hr 45 minute drive NO SMOKERS - Do not ask if you can smoke when you get here. Not in your trailer, not at our gate, not 100ft in the air and not underwater. We've tried... we do not know why people still ask us. Live your life, but if you smoke/vape, please book somewhere else. It has become too much of an issue. NO GENERATORS - Again, do not ask. The answer is no. 98% of our guests are awesome, and we love hosting. Please respect that this is our home, not a campground. You are our guests, not our customers. We do this for fun and to meet new people from all over. But, you can also park here and never interact with us. If were out and about, you're more than welcomed to join us. We look forward to meeting all but 2% of you.

HOST
We are a family of 5 that loves to camp and travel. In 2021, we took our 3 boys across the country on a 7 week road trip in our brand new travel trailer. It was the first time we ever took a trip RVing and we were hooked. We met so many great people that we wanted to continue experiencing the RV life, even when not traveling. We came back, finished renovations on our house in Scottsdale, sold and bought 5 acres in Paulden, AZ. We are now starting a small farm and opening our property to host our fellow travelers.

Parking & Arrival
PLEASE TELL US WHICH SPOT YOU WANT WHEN BOOKING. Boondockers Welcome doesn't have the option to separate the spots when booking. Our main spot is situated between our main and guest homes. It is 50a, we have adapters if you need them. Our second spot is 30a and is a back in spot behind our house. During heavy rains or melted snow, this spot may get muddy. We will park you next to it if that's the case, or put you in our main spot if not booked. We have numerous dry camping "spots", it's basically park where you'd like. We will show you the typical spots when you arrive. NO GENERATORS ALLOWED. DO NOT ASK WHEN YOU ARRIVE.
