About
As you carve out your next RV camping adventure through the historic heart of California's gold rush era, find yourself enchanted by a serene farmstead that promises not just a stay but an experience steeped in pioneer spirit. Just a 1.5-hour drive from the majestic Yosemite National Park and a mere 30 minutes from the picturesque Pinecrest Lake Resort, this idyllic homestead serves as your gateway to the treasure trove of the Sierra Nevada foothills. Bask in the ambiance of a simpler time at a stone's throw from the living history park of Columbia National Park, where the echoes of the gold mining days still resonate. Only half an hour from your RV doorstep, embrace the opportunity to learn gold panning, engage in horseback riding, and be swept up in a narrative that once shaped the nation. For those with a penchant for the past, a short jaunt to Jamestown offers an antiquer's paradise. Treasure hunters and history buffs alike will revel in the quaint charm and hidden gems tucked within its many shops and boutiques. As the sun dips below the horizon and your day of exploration wanes, retreat to your RV nestled in the countryside. With ample parking information provided for a seamless experience, the farmstead also features a venue and AirBNB options for those desiring a cozy night off wheels. Whether you're a nature lover drawn to the call of Yosemite's granite cliffs, a water enthusiast eager to dip your toes in the cool waters of Pinecrest, or a history aficionado chasing the whispers of prospectors past, this haven in gold country is a harmonious blend of rustic allure and RV camping comfort. Come, relive the legacy of the mother lode where adventure and tranquility strike gold together.

Parking & Arrival
• our most popular spot works for smaller - larger rigs. High clearance isn't needed. However, for larger rigs, backing up is necessary. This spot can be seen in the photo of the historical sawmill incinerator. No shade, has WiFi available. Table and chairs w/ umbrella at site, as well as cooler season only: a fire pit (with firewood to purchase) **Guests have said that they don't need much to level when parking, as can be seen in some of our reviews. •Our other 2 spots are best for boondocking Sprinter type rigs that are either 4x4 and/or have a higher wheel clearance. •we are a large acreage, that is always in a work in progress state.... we do our best to be accomodating. We have had customers see a spot and ask to stay there and that has worked well too Please, check in if you have any other questions or would like more info.
