About
I live in a suburb of New York City (about 60 miles north) on a pretty quiet street. No big trucks or highway traffic. I have room for a 25-30 foot rig. If you are towing a car, we'd probably have you park it on a side street. It's a pull-in, not a pull-thru so you have to back up to get in or out. Please be advised there is NO DUMP STATION anywhere in the area! So dump before you come! Suggested Local Attractions:New York City, Westport, CT, Greenwich, CT, Norwalk Aquarium, IMAX theatre,

Adventurous and Seeking Simpler Lifestyle Details: I went on my first road trip back in 1989 with a Coleman pop up camper and have had wanderlust every since. I love the fact that the internet has now made networking and staying in touch with friends so much easier. What a great idea, Boondockers Welcome! I just completed a three month trip across country to Arizona and eastern California (March 2017) and boondocked most of the time. I'm hooked! I am currently self employed as a holistic health coach and educator, have my own practice in my home. My property, while in a small city, is located on a peaceful parcel of land bordering a seasonal stream. The back is easily accessed from the driveway. I have a little dog and a yard if you'd like to let your pup(s) run a bit, she stays on the deck. There are also great dog parks in the surrounding areas. There are great restaurants, movie theatres, live music in the area. And of course, there is the train to New York City. I will most likely request that you take a taxi to and from the trains if you want to ride in. I am an environmentalist, and want to try to limit my own impact on the world through using less, and supporting those that are working hard to protect our natural resources. I love animals, and my yard is full of wildlife. I'm also a singer and musician, play guitar and perform with a theater company. Home Town: Norwalk CT is a suburb of New York City, has a terrific selection of restaurants and is one of the areas where many New Yorkers flock to get away for a while. Easy driving to the beaches, lakes, walking trails, movies, theatre, live music. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Amelia Island Florida (at Mike's from Boondockers), Sedona Arizona (in the forest), Yuma Arizona (at the Paradise Casino), a rest stop in Georgia and a few Walmart's in Texas. Skills or Expertise to Share: My skills are generally what I do professionally, but I do have others...... cooking isn't one of them!

Please keep dogs leashed and under control. The road has a blind curve and is dangerous. I can accommodate electric hook up to run lights, recharge batteries, but no heating, cooking or cooling because it blows my breakers.
