Buckshot Preserve is located in the Farmland Preservation of Northwest Marion County. It is a quiet area. Buckshot is a 1 acre parcel that we have cleared of our 13 acres to share with other RV’ers. On this 1 acre we have room for multiple campers/RVs in all shapes and sizes. We have well water on this property. It is free to you. We are installing a 30 amp at one of our sites. Inquire if interested. It is $15/day We are often joined by deer, hawks, turkeys, and other wildlife. Sandhill cranes fly by in large groups on occasion. Being in a rural area there are also cows nearby. Buckshot Preserve is close to everything Florida. Like, literally, it’s in the middle of our beautiful state! 20 minutes to Gainesville, Go Gators! 7 miles from beautiful Micanopy, where The yearling, Doc Hollywood and Cross Creek were filmed. There you will find wonderful shopping, live music and small cafes you certainly don’t want to miss. 30min -1hr to many Florida state parks where you can swim and fish and boat to your hearts content. If you’ve not experienced Florida’s sapphire-blue springs here is your chance! Our region has over 300 documented springs. A favorite is Ginnie Springs which is only 45 minutes away. 15 minutes to Orange Lake The largest lake in the north central region at 12,550 acres! Where you will enjoy fishing! Where I am told “trophy size bass are caught”. Some over 30lbs! 30 minutes to the World Equestrian Center where you will experience EVERYTHING horse you’ve ever imagined. Here you will be immersed in equestrian events and find yourself indulging in fine dining, ringside if you wish! 8 miles from Paynes Prairie On the prairie you can experience alligators, deer, horses and bison. You can hike or ride bikes on any or all of the 8 trails totaling 30 miles where you will see an abundance of wildlife. We are pet friendly at Buckshot Preserve. Please feel free to bring your pets. Please also clean up after your pets and leave our place free from garbage or animal waste. Buckshot Preserve is situated in the Farmland Preservation area of Marion County. It is peaceful and quiet here. You will often see neighbors walking their dogs on our beautiful road catching a glimpse of the beautiful sunsets and enjoying our natural surroundings.
